I have so many headcanons to write its ridiculous,,,, Anyways! I dont think ive writen Oumota, and since i have some ideas ima write it!
This takes place in chapter 5, and it has more of an afterlife au,,,, I just want Kaito to comfort Kichi after the events ;-;;;;;;

-Kokichi kidnapped Kaito, and locked him in the exisal hanger bathroom (duh)
-Kaito didn't completely believe Kokichi was the mastermind
-It was too obvious,,,,
-Kokichi had had a crush on Kaito throughout the whole game
-But, he figured it wasn't worth it to have such feelings, since he knew he'd end up dying someway, somehow.
-Be it by his plan, or most likely Maki
-A lot of the time, Kaito thought a lot of things over
-When Kokichi finally went to go explain his plan, and Kaito ended up shooting him with a crossbow, he knew this wasnt gonna be easy
-When the whole Maki and poison thing happened, he realized his whole plan was fucked.
-Kaito did feel bad that everything went haywire with Maki
-Not just because Maki could die, but because he knew Kokichi wasn't the mastermind by then, and that Kokichi was pretty distressed.
-After Maki was gone, and Kokichi explained his plan, and forced the antidote down Kaito's throat, he realized maybe Kokichi had more to him
-Kokichi ended up being completely honest with Kaito about his feelings on everything
-Although, he still continued to lie about things, even though the pain/poison was affecting him so much
-Once their plan was set up, and everything was suddenly happening, Kaito noticed Kokichi looked a little scared
-Kaito had no idea how to help, or comfort Kokichi
-Once it was Kokichi's turn under the press, Kaito realized he was shaking, and not just from the poison
-Kaito didn't want to crush him
-Kaito wanted Kokichi to go over to everyone and confess everything
-Confess how he felt
-Confess everything
-But he knew either way, he'd die
-And Kaito would rather sacrifice himself as well, than let Maki instead
-Kaito ended up holding him for a few minutes, trying hard to comfort him
-Kokichi clutched onto him
-Kaito ran his fingers through his hair to hopefully calm him down and stuff
-Eventually, Kokichi removed himself from Kaito's arms, and gave him a weak and teary smile
-"At least... I wasn't boring, right..?"
-And with that, Kokichi got under the press, ignoring how scared he was
-And Kaito pressed the button
-.........
-During the trial, Kaito couldn't help but think about Kokichi's scared expression as he died
-He couldn't help but think about how passionate he was about ending the game and throwing the mastermind off
-...
-But he wasn't able to stop Shuichi from finding the truth
-So Kaito tried to at least redeem Kokichi
-They all were saying Kaito was the hero
-Kaito believed he got too much credit...
-And Kokichi didn't get nearly enough
-Once Kaito died, everything was.... dark
-But soon enough... He could see
-He was in some sorta dark meadow, the moon shining down on everything
-And Kokichi was there, wrapped in Kaito's jacket
-Kaito went over, and just gently cradled him
-Kokichi finally completely broke down,
-No one else was there anyways
-Kaito comforted him, holding him tight
-Kaito soon found out Kokichi blamed himself for the deaths of Miu and Gonta
-Kaito just tried convincing him that it wasn't entirely his fault, and that Gonta and Miu still had a bit of responsibility in it
-Kokichi still blamed himself
-He blamed himself for Kaito's death too
-...
-Kaito just continued to hold and comfort him
-Since they'd probably be there for a while, Kokichi got up and started running around
-Clearly it was a game of tag
-Kaito complied and they ran around like a couple of idiots
-Eventually Kokichi confessed his actual, romantic feelings
-Kaito returned them
-The two continued to run around and such, laughing, and settling down to talk as well
-Kaito loved the honest side of Kokichi, even if he wasn't as cheery and light
-He still liked-- loved him
-Even if they'd never get another shot at life
-Even if---
-.
-.
-.
-And eventually,
-They woke up.

Sorry this is a little different, i wanted to do something with this idea without writing a full story on it (since i believe i already wrote something for it,,, (or was that a rp,,,,?)) Eh whatever.
...I cried writing about the scene of his death. I cant get over the scared expression he had, and that he didnt get enough freakin credit
like cmon, kaito is fucking great but he aint that great -_-
Anyways, im done, i have more hc's to write :)
