"Hi." The man said. "Sorry to intrude." He continued.

"You intrude a long time ago," Luke growled walking over to him.

" Is that, are you." I stumbled over my words.

"my father," Jess said.

All four of us stared at the man, he had dark greasy brown hair and oval-shaped green-brown

eyes.

"Yes, um," He paused in mid-sentence as Luke grabbed him by the collar lifting an inch or so off

the ground.

"Luke!" Jess scarmbled over too them, putting him self in the middle of the fight.

The three men held eye contact for a full minute before Jess grabbed his Fathers hacd and

 walked out of the dinner.

"Jess." Luke said weakly after him. Jess glanced back giving Luke a small nod.

A couple minutes later Jess came back in with out Jimmy.

Jess's POV

After the Gilmore's left Luke marched me up stiars. "Go to sleep." He pointed to my bed.

"You don't want to know what I talked about with my Father." I gave a suprised look.

"No not really."

"Hu." I climbed into my bed reaching for a book.

"Jess what did you talk about with your Father?"

"So you want to know now." I smirked.

"Tell me now."

"Okay Uncle Luke." I put down the book. "We stood there, then he said something about it being

warm where he lives and then he told me a little bit about California.

"So you talked about the weather and a state."

I nodded.

Luke shuck his head and pressed a butten on the answering machine. I didn't hear what it said

 because I was reading.

"Jess!" Luke yelled bracking my trance.

" Your principle called." I opened my mouth to speak but Luke continued to quickly. " He said

 your not graduating."

I was still reading.

"Okay, your going to go back to school next year and drop your job at Walmart."

"I'm not going back to school."

"Yes you are!" Luke said.

I stopped reading.

"No I'm not."

"While then you got to go." He crossed his arms.

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

A few hours later I backed my duffel bag a got on the first bus to Vence.
