Everything was white. White and blurry.
I knew I was dreaming, but there was no vivid colour. Just a dull blur of black and white.
A small sob erupted from my right, causing me to focus my attention a little girl, huddled in a corner.
She was crying. Sobs racked her body as she buried her face in her knees, her black hair tumbling down her back.
There was a pounding on the door. Muffled shouts were coming from the other side. I couldn't focus on what they were saying. Everything was just too hazy.
I walked cautiously over to the door, reaching for the knob. As soon as my hand grasped it, it flew open, passing through me like I was intangible.
Two men and a woman dressed in white lab coats strode through, going to the girl and seizing her arms.
She kicked and screamed, flailing every limb in an attempt to fight back; to break free but they held her tightly, fumbling for something. Then they pulled out a needle, filled with clear liquid.
It was a sedative.
Then she called out. Not to them, or to whatever lay in the heavens above.
It was to me.
Her eyes made direct contact with mine, begging me to help her, to save her. I stared into her ice blue eyes, recognising them as my own.
She was me.
I didn't have time to fathom what was going on before she was injected and her body went limp. She was still conscious though, her eyes forever pleading me, boring into mine.
Even though her eyes were mine somehow.
So I was pleading myself. And myself wouldn't help.
I watched, stunned and confused as the girl, me, was dragged from the room and the automatic door slid shut behind them.
I squeezed my eyes shut, a sudden sharp pain searing through my mind. I collapsed on the floor of the white room, holding my head and shreiking in agony and anger as the dream seemed to be coming to an end; and I was waking up.
It seemed so real. So indescribably palpable.
Then again, all memories are.

ok, so i changed a few things. I was typing this chapter and had no idea what to type when this idea about Immunity hit me. I was trying to figure out how my fanfic could stand out among all the magnificent others. I often wondered how they came up with such far out yet amazing ideas. So this came to me. I changed the cover and the summary but that's it. The story itself has not changed. Please keep reading!
