God was I happy to be back at school. I missed the old castle, my common room, the cozy feeling of being there. Everything is what I missed to be quite frank.

It was a gloomy Monday morning, unfortunately. After getting ready for my classes, I made my way to the Great Hall for some much-needed breakfast. As I began to shove the delicious cereal — Cheeri Owls — down my throat, two tall humans sat in front of me. I looked across the wooden table at them and smiled after I swallowed my food.

"Good morning!" I had no clue who they were and I didn't want to be rude, especially on this gloomy Monday.

They didn't say anything to me, so I took in their appearance.

Identical.

If I had to, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. They had very dark brown curly hair, almost black eyes, they were slender, their physical features were just impeccable. There was nothing to complain about, they were perfect.

"What's your name, Darling?" The one on the left asked. How beautiful that sounded coming out of his mouth, Darling.

"I'm Eden Edgecombe! What about you?" Before I got too excited, I pushed my now soggy cereal away from me in case I would make a mess. I was prone to making messes when I got too excited.

"I'm-"

"-Tom. And I'm-"

"Marvolo."

Holy moly. That was hot if I do say so myself. And the smirk at the end, it wrapped it all together as a bow does to a gift.

"Do yous have a last name?" I questioned when I noticed they didn't mention it.

"Riddle." They spoke.

[ it fits them so well ]

I looked down at their ties from their face to see that they were green. They're Slytherins. Why are they talking to me, a Hufflepuff? I mean they're company is very nice if I'm being completely honest. Comforting so to speak. But why me?

"You're a-," Marvolo started.

"Fifth year!" I smiled. I was very proud to be a fifth year and 15 years old. Everybody else wasn't, they all hated it. I don't see why though, it's quite a fun year.

[ especially for you ]

I looked up at the clock by the entrance to see that it was time for me to get ready for class. I didn't even get the chance to finish my breakfast. I looked across the table at the twins with a glare.

"I must go." I stood up from my seat swiftly and exited the Great Hall in a huff.

Those stupidly hot twins are going to make my day miserable, just like the weather is today! If it is, I'm blaming it all on them! They didn't let me eat my cereal! My favorite cereal to be exact; Cheeri Owls.

It was lunchtime and I was seated in the semi-empty library doing school work. I was working on Transfigurations. Dumbledore already gave us an essay on the first day, which is annoying. Who gives essays on the first day?

As I was doing my work, two people sat on both sides of me. It cannot be those rude twins. I looked up and sure enough, it was them much to my disliking.

"Can I help yous?" I continued to write the last bits of my Transfigurations essay as they watched. Once I put the correct punctuation mark at the end of my sentence they finally spoke.

"We got you a little something." It was a snack. Carrots to be exact. Nice bite size carrots. One of my favorite snacks.

"Why?" I took them from the one on my right. I grabbed a carrot and took a bite which echoed throughout the library.

Oops.

"We're sorry we made you skip breakfast." I looked at him, left. He looked so soft, they both did. They looked so soft yet so sharp at the same time, it was incredible.

"It was even my favorite." They somewhat smiled at me. Maybe I could get used to them if they want to be my friend. They just have to stop distracting me from my Cheeri Owls.

[ you don't have any (friends) for a reason ]

"Tomorrow we won't interrupt you." Left.

"But we will once you're done." Right.

"Deal."

The three of us conversed some more as I continued to eat my carrots quite loudly. As we did, I took in their appearance once again and their mannerisms. How their lips moved together in sync, the small twinkle — probably from the light — that's in their eye closest to me.

"Love."

"Love."

"Darling."

"Darling!

"Eden!"

I hummed and blinked at them. They glanced at each other with their eyes narrowed and a mad look on their faces. What did I do?

"We said your name a few times."

"You only said Eden once."

Left looked to right who was already looking at him. Right sighed and leaned back in his chair. I looked at left who looked at me as his faces softened.

[ they were filled with anger because of you. you always do this to them, make them angry ]

"It's okay. You just have to remember the names we call you."

"And who is who." We looked at right who was smirking at me. He looked so good (sitting back in the chair like that with a smirk), it made my stomach hurt, but in a good way.

"Love?" He asked.

"Yes?" Why would they want to call me this name or 'Darling'? I don't get it — them. I'm not special enough for special names.

"We want to call you this name and Darling. They suit you. Just don't worry about it." Left said.

"If you hear us say those names know we're talking to you." Right.

"Nobody else." They spoke.

I nodded still unsure about it. Silence enveloped the three of us into a hug for a short moment, until one of them broke free.

"Will you go on a date with us, Darling?" Right asked.

"A date? Me?" They smiled and nodded.

"Yes, you. We want to go on a date with you."

"Will you?" They questioned.

"Of course!" I smiled.

My very first date! I hope it's like how everyone describes them; amazing.
