*Julia's POV*

Simon has completely turned my life around. I wake up to the bright sun and feel incredibly happy. I don't remember the last time I felt so happy. The thought of suicide seems so distant and impossible.

I still can't believe it. I can't believe how caring and amazing Simon is. I've never been treated this way before, like I belong here.

I push myself up off the moist grass, getting ready to go to work. I don't worry about my uniform. I'm not going back inside. I don't care if I get fired anyway. I hate it. I walk in the direction of McDonalds.

I walk into the building, getting glares from my fellow employees already. They hate me after what happened yesterday. First, no uniform, second, I spilled soda everywhere multiple times, and third, I burnt so many batches of fries I lost count. So not only do I hate this job, I also suck at it.

I'm not going to waste my time trying to get better. It shouldn't be long before I'm fired. I'll figure out how to make money later, pushing money out of my mind has made me so much happier.

---

Another long day, even though it was only 5 hours, it was even worse than yesterday. Since all the employees know me now, they weren't afraid to yell at me like they were yesterday.

I check my phone for the first time all day. Three texts from Simon. I'm going to have a hard time paying this phone bill. Oh well.

Simon:Please come over, I'm lonely.
Simon:Jules you want to? Or nah >.<
Simon:I guess no...Text me back if you change your mind

Now he probably thinks I'm ignoring him. Fantastic. My only friend is most likely mad at me now. Stupid job.

Julia:Sorry, I was at work. I'll be over in a few minutes. Limited text, please don't reply

I change my route and head for Simon's house. I'm not sure where I was planning on going, but it sure wasn't there. I'm really scared Simon's going to think I'm too clingy. Then he won't like me and never talk to me again.

A few minutes later I walk up to Simon's house and knock on the door. I got a little upset Simon didn't answer. It's the third guy that I saw on the first day.

"I don't think I've properly introduce myself. I'm Vikk aka a Star." My breathe catches when he mentions a star, but I quickly remind myself that it's not the same thing as my star talking. "Simon's recording in his room if you want to go watch."

"I'm Julia. Can you show me to his room?" I say in a small voice. Vikk smiles at me and gestures me in. He starts walking up the stairs, so I follow. He goes up yet another set of stairs and I start to get turned around.

He points at a door across the way before heading back downstairs towards his own room. "Thanks." I say to his retreating form. He before turning the corner and out of my sight.

I walk slowly to Simon's door, scared he'll get mad if I interrupt him. I don't want him mad at me. I knock lightly on the door before grabbing the knob and slowly pushing it open. Simon is leaning over in his chair messing with a camera.

"Hi." I say to him with a smile in my small voice. He looks over with a surprised expression, then he smiles and responds with a "hey."

I walk into the room, making sure to shut the door in case he needs quiet. "I was just about to record GTA with the boys. Want to watch?" He asks.

I nod my head yes and take a seat in a chair next to his. "Be warned, we kinda cuss and scream a lot." He seems to have forgotten that he told me to watch his videos. It's fine because I haven't had time or wifi to watch them.

I laugh at him and say "it's fine, I'm used to it." I'm not actually but I don't want to seem like a wimp. Simon opens up GTA and joins in a call with 4 other people. I recognize Josh and Vikk's voices but I don't recognize the other two.

"Who is in this call?" I ask Simon curiously. "Josh, Vikk, Tobi, and Ethan." He responds. I nod at him, taking in the new names.

"Ethan's the one who laughs a lot." Simon whispers to me. Right after Simon say that I can hear the echo of laughter coming from Ethan. I like the sound of it. They play a few races and goof around a lot before ending the recording and the call.

"How'd you like it." Simon asks, turning his chair to me.

"It was awesome!" I say with a smile on my face. I couldn't stop myself from laughing a few times. They are so funny. Hopefully he edits my laugh out of his video. I can understand why Ethan laughs so much.

I especially liked the races they did and all the rage that came with them. Simon wasn't lying when he said they cuss a lot.

I can understand, it just comes out when they get mad, like it does with me. It's really funny. Simon opens up an editing software and starts editing the video he just recorded. For the first few minutes I was mesmerized by what he was doing. I've never seen anything like it.

After a while everything started to get very monotonous, so I started looking around his room. He has a lot of red bull littering the ground. There's multiple piles of stuff all around his room. Obviously he's not nearly as tidy as Josh is.

Simon looks over at me curiously before he turns back to editing. He's being awfully quite, but I can understand why. That editing looks hard.

I stand up from my chair and lay down on Simon's bed. I don't know why, it just looked so warm and comfortable.

Simon looks at me, laughs a little, then turns back to editing. "You can stay there if you want. I won't do anything." He tells me. I trust him, I have no reason not to. I lay my head on one of the pillows.

It's so comfortable. It's amazing. I don't ever remember laying on something so comfortable. The scent of Simon fills me up and I close my eyes without meaning to. I don't want to fall asleep on Simon's bed, but eventually I can't stop myself.

I haven't had a good sleep in a very long time and I'm utterly exhausted. Sleeping in a bed is very different from sleeping on the ground.
