When Kuwei arrives from Ravka the next morning, you immediately realise you hate him even more in person. Nobody else wants to go near him so its easy for you and Wylan to pull him into one of the back rooms at The Crow Club (Kaz won't let Kuwei anywhere near your actual base).
"Right Kuwei," you say, you intend to get this over with as quickly as possible. "Any funny business, you know what I mean, and I'll kick your sorry butt straight back to Fjerda."
Kuwei visibly pales but seems to gather up his courage to sneer at Wylan.
"I can't think why anyone would love a good-for-nothing Mercher's son anyway, he can't even read!" Big mistake Kuwei, you think to yourself, BIG mistake.
