SIX OF CROWS X READER

Part 3A

"Honestly, I'm fine," you insist, swinging yourself off the bed and stumbling to the door.

"No, I really think you should stay here," says Wylan although it sounds more like a demand.

"I'm fine," you say again, opening the door and almost falling over as you cross the corridor.

"Guys, we can't let her leave," you hear Wylan whisper.

"Great, we get to kidnap someone." Says Jesper.

You speed up and turn down another corridor as you hear Wylan, Jesper, Nina and Inej race after you. Nina pins you to the wall at the top of the stairs but you wriggle out of her grip, this time not hurting yourself in the process. You run down the stairs, dodging Jesper and Wylan's efforts to catch you. When you reach the bottom of the staircase, you hear an odd swishing sound and turn to see Inej sliding down the banister, a syringe in her hand. You trip forward but feel a small prick in the back of your neck. Jesper catches you and you feel him taking you back up the stairs as your vision dissolves.

"She is far too much like Kaz," you hear Wylan's voice say as you struggle to clear your sight.

"You don't say, that was the most fun with broken legs I've had for a long time." This time you can see Jesper speak.

You try to sit up but find a band of rope securing your waist to the bed. 

"What on earth!?" You say, "Where are Inej and Nina?"

"They went back to the Slat." Replies Wylan. "I'm sorry about the restraints but you really need to stay here."

"Fine," you grumble. "Just please untie me,"

You feel someone undoing the knots but you're already falling back to sleep.

For the next week, you spend the time joking with Jesper and generally being bored when everybody's off doing something that doesn't involve entertaining you. At the weekend, everybody (except Kaz, thank goodness) piles into your room.

"Hey (Y/N), we've got great news." Pants Wylan, they must have ran over from somewhere.

"Nina's figured put a way to fix your leg using her powers!" Finishes Inej.

"Am I ok to start now?" Asks Nina.

"Yes," you shriek. "Get me out of this bed, please!"

In an hour, your back on your feet and feeling good as new. It was fun staying at Wylan and Jesper's house but you are glad to be able to walk again.
