5:32 pm.

It was time. Time to sneak into Dana's house.

Walking down the stairs slowly, I try not to make any noise since mom is always sleeping in the living room, watching TV. She always comes back from home early to sleep because she has the night shift job at the mall sometimes. She always complains how I never work in the winter but I hate winter jobs.

I honestly have no life.

The floorboard creaks against my footsteps as I try to get to the back door safely.

After big steps of nervousness, I finally got there. I quietly shut the door behind me and bolt out of the house, making it to the backyard next door.

I stuff my phone into my front pocket as I walk a couple more feet to the opposite side of my house.

My feet plopped against the dirty ground.

My thoughts were just, ewugh, as it made contact with this type of surface.

Her family has a huge garden, so the ground in the back of her house is sometimes muddy (especially since it rained heavily this morning) and dirty.

I stopped in the small pile of mud and look up at the window. I'm pretty sure this is the window to the room where Calum told me to be at.

I can't believe I have to sneak in through a window just to help him with something. He owes me big time for this one.

Before taking my first steps up, I look around my surroundings to make sure there isn't anyone around.

Or else they'll be like;

'LOOK  SALLY! THERE'S A GIRL BURGLAR TRYING TO ROB THAT HOUSE! CALL THE COPS!'

'Sure thang Donald, but first lez beat da shizlets out of her tiny booty!'

Okay fine, maybe that scenario would most likely not happen...but you might not know when two people named Donald and Sally pop in outta nowhere with a llama.

The coast was clear.

I first grasp onto the railing at the edge and then boost myself up by placing my foot on the first stump of the house. I then start to make it up, while holding onto the tree branch that was sticking out at the side from the tree beside.

Moving my head to the side, I gulp, looking down to see how high up I am now. It's not that high but could be a pretty bad fall if I keep looking down. I don't even have a fear of heights but these branches don't look like they'll be able to hold my weight for that long.

I was so close to being at the window. So I grab onto another branch that was above and climb, stepping on another stump. Eventually, I got there.

I made it!

My elbows rest against the windowsill as I seek through it to see if anyone's there. Well I couldn't exactly see through the closed glass and curtains blocking a bit. There was also a glass of water near by.

So I cautiously move to the side inch by inch to the left to get a better gaze.

I squint and lean forward to find someone's back at a desk in there.

It's Calum! Thank god.

I bring my knuckles up and quietly knock against the glass.

"Open up." I hiss under my breath, as I tap on it.
