(let me preface this with the fact that i'm a city girl so if you're not i'm sorry bc this chapter is kinda about that since i love it)

finn surprises you with plane tickets to new york

you once visited orion when she lived there and basically fell in love with everything there

ever since you haven't shut up about how much you miss it

finn and your parents were in on the whole thing and had been orchestrating it for a while

he surprised you at the cafe you work at
(we're just gonna pretend <3)

you had NO idea he was coming and practically died from happiness when you saw his face

he had been away in la to visit his friends 

you and him fly out to new york and get a really cool airb & b

the first day you spend it with your friends just exploring the city

sadie, gaten, and caleb met up with you guys to go see a broadway show

you had wanted to see one ever since you were a kid so this experience was kinda surreal to you

after that you have a birthday dinner with everyone at an overly fancy restaurant

the second day quincy and nick show up so you all go to all the big touristy places

you went up all the way empire state building 

nick kept threatening to drop a penny over the edge which ended up in the three of you yelling at him to stop

he almost got escorted out, which had you dying

finn caught a video of it and it ended up looking super chaotic so he posted it to his instagram story

he posted another video just yelling happy birthday and you looked horrified from the scene he made and everyone staring, then he just hugged you and giggled

literally everyone was freaking out about it

soooo many ship videos were made

that night you and finn went up to the rooftop of the place you were staying at the watch the sunset

you ended up falling asleep in his arms to cherry by the chromatics playing in the background

so thank you finn for making your birthday so amazing
