𝘓𝘐𝘍𝘌𝘓𝘌𝘚𝘚 𝘞𝘈𝘙//𝘗𝘑𝘔 𝘍𝘍

•Retrospective•

Bear have been with her and close to her almost at all times as if he was created just for her, just like someone. It was like fate and destiny for her to find Bear and the reindeer never failed in protecting and comforting her  , just like someone else. The warmth and cuddles Bear gave whenever she's down really put her in a zone of peace and love, just like someone else. Perhaps his soul came back and reincarnated as a big white reindeer to look after her but she hated thinking it that way since it means he's dead and she's absolutely against that fate.

Venus sighed again as she stared at the picture of a cold, expressionless young man while mindlessly stroking Bear's strong head. Just when she thought she's getting over the misfortune of her life, her eyes warmed up and her vision became blurry. Again, she felt the sting in her heart, the tug, the clench, and the pain. Her figured started hunching and shoulders shook as she heaved through her silent sobs. Her hand stopped stroking Bear's head and rest on his black nose instead. With her head lowered, her tears were able to easily drip down on her hand and wetted the reindeer's head.

The reindeer slowly lifted its head up, careful not to crash into anything before resting it on her shoulder and licked her flowing tears. Venus hiccuped on her sobs as she bit her lips and quietly cried. The girl leaned her head on the reindeer's string neck and buried her face into its thick white fur as her cries gradually became louder. With one hand fisted her the part of her shirt with her chest was while another loosely circled around the reindeer's neck, Venus lost to her emotions again as she bursted out in tears.

"It's hurts, Bear. It still does....I still miss him, I still want him....I still love him"

The usual cold breeze and morning air were replaced by a soft furry warmth that had heat radiating off of it. It was too comfortable to wake up so Venus snuggled deeper into the cuddly surface as she curled her body and buried her face into the fur. As she begun drifting off, a blow of hot air hit her face but it made her hummed as it heated up it's chilly skin. Then, something wet tipped her cheek, causing her to blinked her eyes open only to find a big white reindeer staring at her with twitching nose and big black orbs. The girl stretched a smile before stretching herself and kissed the reindeer's nose. She glanced at the side, realizing her bed was empty and she slept while leaning and snuggling Bear.

"Morning, Bear"

Gosh, that sounded so nostalgic. Venus groaned before getting up and started getting ready for her day. The reindeer nudged her ribs and back to help her get up before it left the tent with its big antlers. She had noticed the increase in temperature outside but it was still chilly. It was indeed weird to feel the warmth in the village, much less the entire hill, but the girl still remembered to wear thick clothings with wooly layers and furry ends just in case the temperature decided to drop and freeze everyone to death. As she was dressing up and get all cozy in her stuffed clothes, her eyes caught the tip of her diary under the pillow. She didn't get to write the heartbreaking event last night that had her cheeks stained with dry tears. She made a mental reminder to do it later after her busy day.

Venus hopped into her furry boots and grabbed a thick scarf made from sheep wool before stepping out and immediately met the white reindeer that just exited her tent not long ago. She smiled at the reindeer as she wrapped the scarf around her neck and covered half of her face before she mounted onto Bear without a saddle or any tack for that matter since this was how they trained. Bear was a wild solitary reindeer and wasn't fond of the idea of heavy tacks on him which means Venus had to carry a bag on her own for her things because Bear didn't like saddle bags as well. The girl shoved her beloved teddy bear into her backpack and nudged Bear to walk over to her group of friends.
