Rain

Elysian p/o/v:

We ride for a short while before I hear someone running towards us shortly followed by the familiar voice of Bilbo yelling "Wait, wait." I turn and watch Bilbo run to Balin handing him the contract "I signed it!" Balin examines the paper and nods "Everything seems to be in order, welcome to the company of Thorin Oakenshield Master Baggins."

Bilbo grins and Fili and Kili pick him up under the arms placing him on the spare pony. I ride next to Bilbo and the dwarves start throwing bags of coins back and forth "What are they doing?" I smile "They took bets as to whether you would show up." He nods slightly and turns to Gandalf "What did you bet?" He grins and catches a bag of coins "I never doubted you for a moment."

Bilbo nods "Did you get on me?" I shake my head "I don't tend to bet on things." It's starts to rain and I pull up my hood Bilbo looks very cold so I pull a spare cloak from my saddle bags and wrap it around his shoulders "Thank you." I smile and one of the dwarves Dori I think calls out "Master Gandalf is there not something you could do about this weather?" Gandalf sighs "It is raining master dwarf it will stop when it wants to stop, although  Elysian has some control over the elements."

I sigh and glare at Gandalf but close my eyes compelling the rain to fall around us but not onto us. I open my eyes concentrating on the rain "I won't be able to hold it for long." Bilbo stares at Gandalfs back "Are there other wizards?" Gandalf nods "There are five of us in total Radagast the brown, Saruman the white and the two blue wizards whose names I've quite forgotten." I smile " Pallando and Alatar. " Gandalf nods and we continue on in relative silence save for the rain falling around us.

It's just getting dark when we dismount and start making camp on a small alcove of rock. The dwarf with the odd hat, Bofur starts cooking and I walk away from the dwarves gathering fire wood. A twig snaps behind me and I turn to find Bilbo with a small pile of twigs in his arms "How are you faring Master Baggins." He smiles "I'm alright and I like to be called Bilbo." I nod "Of course."

We start walking back to the camp and the hobbit turns to me "Elysian?" I smile "Ely is fine." Bilbo smiles "Ely, what erm what..." I smile at the hobbit "What am I?" He nods and we reach the line of trees bordering the camp "I am one of the Majda." He looks confused "I've never heard of one of those before." I smile sadly "I'm the only one here, I'm stuck here until a portal opens."

Bilbo looks at me with wide eyes "Your not from Middle Earth?" I shake my head and place my bundle of sticks by the fire "No I am not from Middle Earth." I sit on the edge of cliff face and one of the dwarves calls out "Where are you from then?" I smile looking out over the land "A place far away from here, Calcite. It's very beautiful."

I turn and find all the dwarves are staring at me "Why did you leave?" Kili I think asks I sigh "I didn't have much of a choice. My job was to protect the crystal. I fell through a portal and ended up here. The portal closed and I have no way back." Kili's brother Fili looks confused "Can't you just open another portal?" I shake my head " My magic is weaker here. All Majda have ways of making their magic stronger for short periods of time but without a portal connecting my home and here I can not access all my magic."

Bilbo smiles "How do you make your magic stronger?" I smile at the hobbit "Fire and water." He nods and Ori moves slightly closer to me "Is it true that Majda can shape shift?" I smile at the dwarf and nod "Yes." He looks shocked "Woah." Fili grins "I read somewhere that you have pet dragons." I look over at him "They are not pet's they are companions and you have to earn them."

Thorin scoffs "Lies." I smile slightly and look over at him "Not all dragons are like the one in your mountain Master dwarf." He scowls "You cannot train a dragon."  I shrug slightly "I disagree although they are very proud creatures and you should never insult one unless you have a death wish."

Gandalf chuckles to him self and I raise my eye brow he smiles "You should tell them about your dragon if I remember correctly she had quite a temper." I smile "Shes just protective and she just doesn't like people insulting my family in that particularly case my brother. One of the guards nearly lost an arm." He shrugs "Violent then." I roll my eyes "Of course she is violent she's trained for battle."
