Chapter 11

Tara

Monday morning was always stressful for me either at the hospital or my charity foundation.

I was on off duty at the hospital, so I decided to be at the foundation, Tara Banks Domestic Violated Women Foundation.

The foundation was meant for the voiceless women to seek justice and helped to overcome their trauma.

I picked a recent case file on my table to study it but was distracted by my phone ringing tone.

(Phone rings: Alex❤)
"Happy new year." I said laughing

"Lol... What did you mean nah." He replied at the other end laughing really hard

"Nothing o, my Lordship." I replied

"You are not serious, so how have you been?" He asked

"Great, fine, anything you could think of." I replied smiling

"Uhn..hope you didn't miss me too much because I do." He said finally

"You know I missed you, especially the stubborn part." I said

"Hmm...okay o. Am coming back next tomorrow, so you will pick me at the airport." He said

"Really, no wonder you called today for the past two weeks." I said feigning some annoyance in my voice

"Am so sorry babe,  I was caught up in some things here." He explained

"Apologies accepted and don't bother coming if you don't get anything for Omotara o." I said faking some serious tone

"My stubborn baby is back, you know I will always get something for you and besides I have some gists for you." He said laughing

"Really, I also have some gist for you because a lot had happened since you left." I said finally

"Okay, can't wait for that. See you on Wednesday, will text the time to you." He said

"Okay dear, take care." I replied

"Yeah and you too." He said finally

I had missed him so much, am happy I will get to meet him on Wednesday.

"Excuse me ma'am, a lady want to meet you." My secretary said

"Who is she and did I have an appointment with her?" I inquired

"She didn't tell me her name and you don't have an appointment with her." She replied

"Tell her to come in, since am less busy." I said finally

Few seconds later, I heard a knock at my door

"Yes come in." I replied

To say I was beyond shocked was an understatement.

"What is she doing here? I hope she is not here for trouble." I thought to myself

I couldn't deny the fact that she looked good in the blue bodycon mini gown she wore. I didn't knew how long she stood there but when I came back to my senses, I offered her a seat.

I made up my mind to visit Tara for a warning meeting. I drove in my Limosine 2018 model to the hospital where she work but I was told she was not on seat.

A nurse described her charity foundation to me and I drove there. I arrived there an hour later. I couldn't deny the fact that, the building was well built even the interior decor was superb.
