DAVID DOBRIK looked at mollie with eyes full of emotion, he knew he wanted to say yes but he quite frankly couldn't articulate the word. mollie grew nervous internally, she was 100% an over thinker, she began thinking that she read all the signs wrong (which she didn't) and was regretting asking him.
she tried to stay confident on the outside but she was well aware david could read her like a book. the silence on the balcony was becoming abnormally awkward and silent, mollie's confidence was fading quickly thinking he'd decline her question and reject her, despite the last few months spent together. that's when david finally spat his answer out.
"yes.." david said slowly, staring into her eyes. mollie's smile grew enormous amounts when she heard that word, as did david's. the two leaned in for a small peck, a peck in which turned into a kiss full of passion. the burning question that they had been wanting to answer for the past couple of months had finally been asked and answered.
they were over the moon. the remaining conscious friends inside the house stared at the hopelessly in love, now couple kissing under the moonlight. it was like a dream, it didn't look real. the moon in the background topped the scene off. "aw" natalie said, sipping on her water to help her sober up. ilya and jason nodding in agreement, not taking their eyes off the couple.
over the next few days after davids birthday, the now official couple had told their 'oblivious' friends, who actually was aware the whole time and david's family. david's siblings were so happy for them, mainly ester and sara considering they believed that 'mavid' was endgame.
kristina and palo were relieved that they finally were official, instead of playing around and avoiding the commitment before it was too late. which in reality wouldn't of happened. the couple decided to keep it on the lowdown for another while, they don't want a highly publicised relationship as it doesn't always go down the best. they want to keep their love life as private as they can.
david and mollie wanted to be comfortable being in the public eye and in a relationship. they knew they're would be enormous amounts hate and also astronomical amounts of love and support. so they decided to keep on the lowdown until they are ready for a life time of possible hate and tourment.
publicity is sometimes the worst thing for a relationship, the two didn't want their fame profiles getting in the way of their romance, it didn't matter to them that either one of them could lose their fourtune tomorrow or if they lost their fame, they only wanted each other for one another.

AFTER DAVID'S family left los angeles, things resumed as normal. it was now the first week of august. the two had been dating for almost three weeks. everything was going amazingly, the fans were slowly catching on but majority were still clueless that they were in fact very much a couple.
many fans called mollie out for being a 'snake' in regards to her friendship with liza koshy, davids ex. mollie had released many new songs, her new album set to come out in the summer, so soon. she already released stained glass, good in goodbye, dear society, baby and her past album too. she was doing incredible and nobody could be more proud than david.
even before romance took over their relationship, he was always in awe of how much she admires her work and how well she has done for herself in under a year. her work ethic and passion for what she does is something the whole friend group loved about her.
mollie felt the same way, the way david is always so on top of what he has to do, how he never disappoints his fans is something that she adores about him. to think she went from being a massive fan of his to dating him is something she never thought she'd accomplish but it's the thing she's proudest of, being able to call david her boyfriend.
