He saved me from Jake's harrassment and is now worried he can't afford to take me out on a "date."

Can he be any cuter than that?

Hay naku! He tried to stop himself from grinning but those dimples still showed.

Dear heart please don't do somersaults like that kasi baka ako ang mapaibig ni Axel and not the other way around.

"So ano na? Let's go." I said and slipped my arm into his then walked to the parkig lot.

"This is not a date okay? I will just take you out." He said after and I pouted.

"Date nga di ba? Two individuals hanging out so it's call like that. So saan mo ako dadalhin?" I asked shifting the conversation.

Here I was thinking everything will go smoothly pero Axel is still resisting my charms.

"Since di ka maarte and sosyal as you say. Kakain tayo sa may plaza kung saan maraming streetfood." He said with an evil glint in his eyes.

"Sstreetfood?! Sigurdo ka bang malinis iyon?"

Hindi pa ako nakakain ng streetfood ever. I mean I want my meals to be prepared in a very sanitary way!

"Oo naman. May kilala akong vendor doon. Si Kuya Jojo ay isa sa mga sikat na kwek kwek and toknene vendor. Amo kita so I won't risk you to food poisoning." He replied as he opened the door for me to hop in.

We arrived at the park ng Sta. Ana and he looked for that Kuya Jojo. I rarely go to the park unless may carnival kasi I don't like to mingle with the common folk. Arte lang? Ayoko magkasakit that's all!

Nakita kong may matandang kumakaway kay Axel in a small establishment. There was a signage saying "Jojo's Refreshment Stand." I was also shocked to see it was established since 1990.

"Kamusta na po Kuya Jojo! Gumanda na pwesto natin ah." Axel greeted the old man with a hug.

"Salamat Diyos at umasenso na din. Kamusta tatay mo? Laking bata at ang gwapo pa. Uy sino yang kasama mo? May girlfriend ka na. Binata na talaga ang inaanak ko." Sabi ni Kuya Jojo na tuwang-tuwa sa pagkikita ni Axel.

"Ah hindi po. Anak ng amo ko po si Trixie. Eto pala si Kuya Jojo, ninong ko at may-ari nitong kainan." Inabot ni Kuya Jojo ang kamay niya at nahiya naman akong hindi abutin.

"Nice to meet you po." I said and smiled.

"Ay napakagandang ineng! Ikaw pala ang unica hija ng mga Tan. Halika pasok kayo at nang matikman mo ang pinakamasarap na kwek kwek ng Sta. Ana."

Pumasok kami sa loob at tiningan ang paligid. It was neat and pristine kaya medyo na-relax ako kasi I wouldn't somewhere that's eww you know!

"Have you tried kwek kwek before?" He asked.

"Di pa though I've seen Nina and Felicity eating it before."

"See kahit friends mo kumakain tapos ikaw hindi?" He teased and I glared at him.

"I can't eat not knowing it's clean kaya you can't blame me."

"Yung germs at bacteria nga ang nagpapasarap sa streetfoods." He joked.

"Ewww kadiri! Di ako kakain!" I declared and he laughed.

"You're so gullible. Of course malinis ang pagkain na niluluto ni Kuya Jojo. Why not try some things you haven't tried before?"

Like trying to make you fall in love with me? I thought.

"I don't want to risk myself." I replied.
