"I really insist, I'll pay full price for you, you need to feed your family-"
"Nonsense, you've done my family a greater deed, now leave before I give it to you for free."
The robed figure, apples in hand, smiles at the shopkeeper as she waves her away, "I'll be back in no-time at all for more, let me pay you then."
The shopkeeper smiles and lets out a small chuckle, "We'll see."
     "I'll take it!"
The woman in her royal purple robes waves and speeds out of the store, unbagging an apple, rubbing a good shine on it, and taking a huge chomp with a smile on her face.

Loguetown had become home for a while for her, she wasn't one to stay in one place too long. But this place had work, and she felt comfortable. Even if she had to hide her face everywhere but her own room.

Cutthroat Ghost was a named feared by every Blue. A bounty hunter with an incredible price on her head. She was good at her job. Some would argue too good, making the bounty hunter job harder for everyone else. She's hired in secret, does her job in secret, gets rewards in secret. But shes anything but a secret.

Cutthroat was one of the more... eccentric looking hunters out there. She was decorated in gold all the way from her hair to her ankles. Her weapon of choice being a battle axe about the size of herself, if not larger. Her hair was a stunning pink, and her eyes almost always covered by large sunglasses. Style meant a lot to her. If you don't look great why go out? Her personality was just as bold as her appearance. And thats where misconceptions came into play. Ghost's name was covered in blood, but ask around, and some may tell you shes the kindest soul to ever sail the ocean. But she let people come to that conclusion themselves, its futile to convince others of your goodness when even your name makes people cower in fear. So she left it alone.

As she weaved through the roads, alert in case of marines nearby, she finds herself seated in the shade near the port. She was actually friendly with many of the merchants in Loguetown, so she felt comfortable taking her robes off and cooling off in the shade, away from the beating sun. She made small talk with the fish vendors, talking about what was in season and todays deals.

"Did you see the characters that came on that ship there?" The vendor points to a large ship with a sheep head on the bow, bearing a pirate flag with a straw hat.
"I haven't. But that straw hat looks familiar. I can't put my finger on it."
The vendor places a small stack of wanted posters in her hands. Two faces, Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro. Both having a pretty decent bounty.
"I know about Roronoa, but whose the kid?"
"Thats the kid who ran Arlong park into ruins, Arlong himself with it."
Her jaw dropped, eyes wide peeking over her glasses, "FISHMAN Arlong?? You're kidding!"
     "Dead serious, Ghost."
"He's just a kid, he must me insanely strong! No wonder his bountys so generous!" She looks back down at the pictures, memorizing their features. "I'd love to get in touch with them if possible..."
"I heard the kid was heading to where the king of the pirates was executed."
"I'm not too surprised. Im gonna pay him a visit, thanks for the info!" And with that, not even fully cloaked, she was off.
     "Stay safe!"
     "You too!!"

Luffy makes a B line to the execution platform, wasting no time basking in its glory. Eyes quickly start shooting his way as he starts climbing the scaffolding. Including a specific set of eyes, masked behind a set of purple sunglasses, eager to catch up to the straw hat kid.

Its been a while since Ghost brought it upon herself to get in someones way willingly. Its always duck and hide, avoid being noticed. But something about the look of determination and adventure in Luffys eyes made her feel something that she hadn't felt in a very long time. A set goal, a love and passion for adventure. Something she hasn't felt in years. And she was jealous, she wanted to feel that way too.

"Excuse me ma'am, I couldn't help but notice your robes, what might a beautiful woman like you have to hide?"
Ghost turns around to see a tall blonde man in a suit, shopping bags in hand. He had a handsome smile spread across his lips, she could almost see hearts within his eyes.
"You flatter me. I just feel more comfortable hiding myself from wandering eyes like yourself." She gives him a smirk and turns back around, but is immediately interrupted by something grabbing her hand.
"Please let me make myself aquatinted with you, I must know the mystery that lies under those robes." He lifts her hand and plants a kiss on it. "My name is Sanji, who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"
"We aren't that aquatinted, I assure you."
Out of nowhere, his hand is ripped away and he's been beat to the floor with a single punch. The culprit being a slim young woman with vibrant orange hair.
"STOP BUGGING THIS POOR WOMAN!! I'm so so sorry about that, he doesn't know how to control himself."
Ghost starts to laugh, "It's all right, I'm not used to being dotted on, so this is has been a somewhat pleasant surprise." She looks down at Sanji, "I'm more offended that you have such a beautiful young woman right here and you still chose to flirt with me. Come on now, Sanji."
Nami blushes and hides her face behind a petite hand, "We'll aren't you a charmer yourself."
"Hey. Isn't that Luffy up there?" Usopp comes up behind the two and points up at the large scaffolding, a small figure climbing up it.
"That's Luffy, huh? Just who I'm looking for! I hope you all have a wonderful evening!" Ghost starts to walk off until Usopp yells out to her.
"Wait, who are you? What do you need with Luffy?!"
She turns back and lowers her glasses to make eye contact, a large smile on her face. "If I tell you, you might get scared. Lots of people are scared of Ghosts these days" she lets out a cute little giggle and runs off once again.
"Ghosts... you don't think she meant..." Nami trails off.
"C-c-Cutthroat... that was CUTTHROAT?! SANJI, you could have gotten us KILLED!!!" Usopp yells, almost near tears.

Passing through people, not losing eye contact with the straw hat, she hops up from light post to the scaffolding herself, following close behind. He makes it to the top, sits, and gazes upon all the shocked townspeople, laughing and giggling with delight. He notices the air around him grow a little colder, and like a ghost coming out of the grave, a robed figure vaults up and slowly floats behind him.

Luffy, still sitting with his head bent back to look at the figure, smiles a big toothy smile. The figure kneels to his level and whips her hood back, showing her own big, silly, toothy smile. Her pink hair decorated with gold beads shining in the sunlight, her earrings chiming like bells against each other. She brings her sunglasses to the top of her head and rests them there to make eye contact with Luffy. Luffy turns around, now sitting face first in front of her.

"Are you Monkey D. Luffy??" Her eyes spark with excitement.
Luffys smile somehow gets bigger "Hehe, that's me! Who are you?"
"My name is Cutthroat Ghost!" She sits across from him, legs crossed, hand firmly on her knees, "And Im so happy I get to talk to you!!"
Luffys smile fades into a look of astonishment, and then into and incredible look of excitement. "YOURE CUTTHROAT GHOST??! I WAS HOPING ID RUN INTO YOU!!!"
"LIKEWISE, I heard about Arlong, and I heard you would be here. Why here?? You know you aren't supposed to be up here, right?"
Luffys face twists into one of pride. He stands tall and mighty, holding a much different energy than before, towering over Ghost.

"Because I'm gonna be king of the pirates!!"
