Sam was a beautiful soul. A pretty girl with prettier eyes than everyone you see. Hazel eyes. If only she could see herself as we did.
She went to So-Cal Uni, all pretty and smart. She had a perfect social life; always the prettiest and the sweetest in every circle. Was her personal life as perfect? Well, that's for later.
She was the most popular, the most liked. A lot of people asked her out, but she always figured she wasn't fit for relationship stuff. It was all too much drama. People talked behind her back about this, but they didn't stress on this too much. She seemed happy, so why should they care? Oh, if only that were true.
So, we start from the 2nd of March. Sam walked into school with the usual vigour, but something seemed off. All her "friends" whispered, their voices getting louder every second: she seemed to have cried all night. Someone asked her, "Hey, are you okay?" Sam figured they didn't really care. She said, "Yes of course! I'm waiting." And just as she thought, they didn't ask her further. They obliged and left for their own work. Sam's nails dug deeper in her palm.
