Emancipation means free

For so long we were slaves

but now that we are free

i think that i am going to fight

the pride is all i need

i love my family

i love my life

but now, it is my time to fight

not everyone is happy

i don't care

its our job to fight

our job to defend

against the world

and against the men

against the ones who put us in a shed

some call us citizens

others call us trash

whatever we are

at least we wont be sold for cash

we lengthen the war

but fight until the end

and no longer

will we sleep in a shed
