This rant may not make sense for non bts/kpop fans

There is a channel on yt called 'taekook lives'. As you can probably tell from the name it's a channel dedicated to shipping Taekook. She(yes it is a she)has collections of taekook moments/analyses of certain moments/etc etc.

Ok, first of all, I've noticed that she always puts a disclaimer at the start of her videos which goes 'if you are homophobic please just don't watch.' Wow. So the problem here is the fact that the ship is gay? No, that is not the problem, the problem is the shipping itself. I don't know how many times I feel the need to repeat this. SERIOUS REAL LIFE SHIPPING IS WRONG. It's disrespectful and invading to the people being shipped. No one cares if you ship fictional characters; they can't feel discomfort. But with real people it's different. Just imagine, people analysing every single thing that you do with another person, every contact, every word, every glance, and using that to make theories about your relationship with that person. Oh I forgot it's not even trying to figure out your relationship, it's hoping that you're in a certain type of relationship and collecting 'evidence'. And I know for sure that she not only ships them romantically but also sexually. That's on another level of crazy.

Second of all, taehyung has said that he has felt romantic attraction for a girl, but of course that doesn't necessarily mean that he's straight. But it does mean that he isn't gay. So please, let's stop assuming sexualities!

Thirdly, she takes completely normal things like taehyung liking jungkook's new song, or taekook having a personalised handshake, analyses them, and considers them evidence for them being a couple. That's highly concerning. Don't you think it's normal to support your bandmate as friends? Don't you think it's normal to have a bffs handshake, as friends?? Yes, taekook may be in a relationship, but they have never said so, so then again they may not be. Can we stop making people uncomfortable by blowing things out of proportion? Also, I can tell that you very very badly want them to be gay and love each other, but what if they're not? What if they are but love different people? What then? Will you be disappointed that all of your evidence was wrong in the end? Moreover, I imagine that even if I was in an unannounced relationship with someone, it would still creep me out to see people analysing my every move and contributing the twisted analyses to a conclusion that neither of us had confirmed. That is why, in the end, it doesn't matter if taekook are in a relationship or not; what you need to really analyse is whether you deserve to call yourself an army after what you've done(and still doing).

ALSO, did you say that the definition of analysis was 'looking closely at something that isn't certain and making theories'? No, that is definitely not the definition of analysis. Look at me, I just analysed your entire channel and not a single word was a work of fiction, not to mention your channel is not something that's uncertain. If you want to defend your feeble point at least construct good arguments.
