April was ready to leave, well not ready practically but mentally? She was fully ready, in fact, when she came back home she started packing her things. Her first thought was to leave at the morning, She knew that she should not leave the team on thin ice one day before competition, but it wasn't her responsibility. It's not like she signed papers to be their choreographer, she could do whatever she wanted. And so she decied to leave.

The next morning, Sunday, Quinn did not feel like leaving her bed at all. She kinda felt bad for pushing too hard onto April but she just couldn't stop herself. She had a tendency of doing actions before thinking them first.

Quinn's grades at school were slipping off, not only in math but also biology, and she loved biology. Throughout the past week she felt like she needed to get those moves perfect for the competition, she must have win.

And so, eventually, she moved from her bed getting herself, almost literally dragging her body to sit by her desk to at least do something productive to school.

She spent half of a day flipping through textbooks over several subjects, soaking the new facts and knowledge. That slowly took her mind off things connected with certain dancer, untill...

Until, she got a call from an unsaved number, she picked it up as usually, you can never know who is calling, yes it might be a scammer who just takes money but it also can be a relative who changed number.

"Hello?", she said, raspy voice coming out of her mouth.

"Quinn, oh my gosh, it is your number after all.", a mainly voice spoke up, "It's me Nick, I um I'm the friend of April's I-"

"Yeah, I know she mentioned you. Why are you calling? And how did you get my number.", she said really not interested in talking with somebody that involved older brunette.

"Yeah, I got it from my sister.", Quinn could just feel him scratch his neck. "She is in younger group of a dancers in Miss Barb's studio. Anyway, I decided to call as soon as I found.. April is leaving.. like right now."

Quinn's eyes shot wide and open. "Nick! What do you mean she's leaving, we have our competition tomorrow.", she got up from her chair and started nervously walking around her room.

"Yes, I know, and I tried to talk her out that this is a bad idea. I noticed how she talked about you guys and I think she really liked being a choreographer, well at some point, and I called you because you were the one she mentioned and I didn't know anybody else so. I don't kn-"

"Nick, where is she?", Quinn asked firmly, finally stopping and standing in one spot.

"She has a plane in 2 hours, I'm pretty sure she's heading at the air port. I didn't chase her because firstly I wanted to contact you wether to know if you are going to do something about it."

"Uh yes, yes.", blonde rapidly started to put on some clean clothes out of her closet. "I will be there and try my best."

"Okay, wish you luck, bye."

"Bye, and thank you."

As soon as Quinn hang up, she ran downstairs and took her mom keys, which caused a lot of fuss and argument between the kid and her parent. Even some words as 'I will kill you' were thrown, but blonde haired girl stayed stubborn and 'ran away' from her house taking her mother's car. She needed to stop April from leaving, for team's sake of course. It took her a while mostly because she was driving on the wrong side of the road but she finally made it to the airport. Chaotically running to find the soonest plane to the New York, she almost tripped herself twice over her own shoes. It was the matter of life and death, of the team of course, she kept telling herself it is for the team, but in heart she exactley knew what was her reason.

And so she saw her, brunette was wearing black clothes, which didn't surprise Quinn, April usually wore black sporty clothes with that stupid hat on to hide her identity.

"Wait!", she yelled as soon as she saw the girl about to head out.

April twirlled on her heel knowing exactly who's voice it belonged to.

"You're leaving?", Quinn asked with disappointment in her voice once we stood in front of her choreographer.

"Yes, I'm heading back to New York. It's what's for the best.", she said softly.

"To who, you or our team?", blonde haired asked a question with blame in her tone.

"For all of us, I mean Quinn.. you don't need me. I trained you guys to the perfection an-"

"The competition is tomorrow, you need to be there..", Quinn started to fall apart.

"Quinn I-"

"You know.", blonde cut her off, "I would never suspect you can be selfish to this point."

April just sighed and tilted her head, letting the other to continue.

"So what? Just because it's not your official job, just because there was no contract you think you can just bail on us like that? You constantly talk about professionalism but what you're doing right now is inaccurate with it. You have real commitment issues and yo-"

"I have commitment issues?", brunette cut off this time, walking up to the shorter. "What about you? You're the only dancer that obeyed what I said to all of you to clearly not do. You weren't thinking what would happen if you got an injury, you don't care about them Quinn. You just want to win the competition to get into this stupid collage of yours. Worth mentioning also the fact that you had disrespected me by asking this other guy to guide you. I was you teacher Quinn, he didn't even know the choreography-"

"So what, I can't dance with other people?", Quinn scoffed being more and more irritated with the other girl.

"It's not like that.."

"Right.. Can you at leas-"

"Goodbye Quinn, good luck tomorrow.", April said softly looking down at the shorter girl. Guilt visibly noticeable in her eyes, she turned around and left.

"Shit.", Quinn sighed watching other girl leave.
