What does that even mean? I'm going to have to reach someone. I'm going to have to tell someone...

Dream. I need his help.

Your P.O.V

It's been a couple of weeks since Killer betrayed Nightmare. I still don't know why he left, but Nightmare says there was something odd about him.

Killer never had Gaster Blasters, and it couldn't have been Star because he has difficulty controlling his powers on land.

So who did it? Nobody knows. I suddenly remembered the Book of Soulmates, so I asked Nightmare if he still had it.

"Uh. Yes?" He replied, and disappeared for a second. He reluctantly gave it to me, saying that when he read it, it wasn't just all about soulmates. It also had paragraphs of erasing someone's mind written in it...

I opened the book, and one of the pages told me,"trust no one," in fancy lettering.

What? This doesn't make sense. We HAVE to keep this book!

Sooo... uh...I've seen this book before...Batfang thought to me.

What?!

Yeah...my master before you is the one...who wrote the book.

Woah, what the what?! Really?

Ugh, guys, shut up, your screeching is hurting my head! Also, have you found me a body I can possess?

What the heck Chara!

Whaaat? I need a body to possess because I don't want to possess yours!

I know somebody you can have.

Batfang, not you too!

"Uh. (Y/n)? You alright? You seem...tense," Nightmare asked, looking up from his paper work.

I nodded. "Yeah...I guess. I'm just thinking."

"Thinking about what?"

"Eh. The person who wrote the book, I guess."

Surprisingly, Nightmare sighed. "That book? I know exactly who wrote it. Or at least, I have a clue."

I tilted my head. How would he know who it is if there's only two initials? B and S? "Who?"

Nightmare got up, and walked to a whiteboard. He grabbed a green marker and drew on the board.

"His name is..." he trailed off, revealing the name on the board.

"Bill Sans"

I heard Batfang gasp, and he began to shake. "Bat? You alright?" I asked, reaching a hand to pet his ear. He shook his head. "No..." he squeaked.

"Rat. Do you know something nobody else knows?" Nightmare hissed.

Batfang shook his head. "I dunno what you're talking about, land octopus," he replied, crossing his arms.

Nightmare growled and drew an entire plan of some sort on the whiteboard.

"Bill is another Sans who is trapped in the nightmare realm...he wants to break open the rift that Ink protects-" Nightmare explained. "UGH! I FREAKING NEED YOU, ERROR! GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE PLEASE!"

Error was immediately there, his hands stuffed in his pockets.

"You called?" Error said calmly, yet annoyed.

"Yes. Your knowledge of...Bill...is greater than mine. Tell (Y/n) 'bout him, will you?"

Error nodded. "Yes yes, of course." He walked up to the whiteboard, and almost said something. "Oh. Haha...Ink made me swear to never tell anyone about Bill. You'll have to...talk to Ink..." Error said, heading out of the room.

"What?! I'm not talking to the idiot who stole (Y/n) from me!" Nightmare roared.

Error sighed. "Nightmare, it's the only way. If you so badly need to know about Bill, you gotta talk to Ink. I'm not gonna break my oath if he hasn't escaped yet-crap."

"What if he has escaped? What if he broke into someone's mind and made a deal with them?!" Nightmare snapped.

"Well then, if so, then still go talk to Ink. HE KNOWS WAY MORE ABOUT BILL THAN ME AND YOU COMBINED!"

Confused, I stared at Nightmare. He sighed, and pet my hair. "C'mon, sweetie. We're going to see stupid Ink," he whispered, taking my hand.
