Leanne stared up at her ceiling and sighed. She groaned and then turned to her side. She heard a knock on the door and sat up.
"Dude, I can hear you moving from my room," her sister said. Leanne moved aside and patted the empty space beside her. "Thanks. So you thinking about that guy? Grey eyes?" her sister teased.
"Shut up, Julie."
"So, finally went and talked to him?" Julie climbed into the bed and sat up. "What's it been-like four months?"
"I did...I think I upset him, though. He always picks up the same book and I asked him and he got scared and I apologized and he was staying still and he picked it up and I practically told him I stalk him whenever he comes in and he walked away saying he can't read!" she rushed out. She took a deep breath in and fell back onto her pillow.
She heard her sister laugh at her misery and blushed in the dark. "Man! But i'm sorry for you. I'm sure he will come back tomorrow."
"I don't work tomorrow."
"So? Never stopped you before."
