Love,
The feeling of happiness,
just by thinking of the one you love
the smile that pops up
when they're near.

The feeling that fills my heart,
when you laugh, when you smile,
when you care and even when you're not there.

Love has no limits
but sometimes it gets overshadowed.
Even if it's just for a single second.

Fear,
it comes quick,
it never stays,
it makes your heart race,
and it can make tears run down your face.

Fear of losing someone
or being yourself,
fear can overwhelm you'
until the world seems too dark.

There is one thing,
that overpowers fear.
One simple word,
one feeling
that chases it away.

Love,
when you're held tight,
or talked to so sweetly.
When you're with them
and the world seems perfect

Love,
it saves us
from the cold claws of fear

You,
have saved me
