Aya Weathers

"Don't you think us being here is gonna draw a lot of attention towards Chris and Taylor?" Skylar asked as we got our bags out of the back of her car.

"I was thinking the same thing." I mumbled and heaved my backpack over my shoulder.

"I think it'll be fine. It's not like there isn't already attention drawn towards her." Jayda shrugged. Skylar gave her a look I couldn't comprehend, causing me to scratch my head. Shaking off my thoughts, I closed the trunk.

I walked up to the front door with them right on my trail and knocked. A few seconds later, he answered. For once he actually had on a shirt.

"Hello, ladies. Welcome to De La Casa Christopher." He grinned goofily. I scrunched up my face and shook my head playfully. He stepped to the side and let us in.

"I see why you be wanting to stay here. Beats that little ass dorm, shit." Jayda said as she examined the room.

"Is that a mini arcade?" Skylar pointed out. I looked in the direction she was referring to. That's funny, Chris and I never go back there.

"Don't you think that's a lot of people in the same house? I have a bad feeling about this." I rubbed my arms.

"Look, it'll be fine," Chris came behind me and grazed his fingers against my arms. "Your friends will be together, Kenya and Ro in her room, Ayden in his, Tory and Aug in Hoody's old room, and me and you together." He rubbed my shoulders, massaging my neck gently. I sighed deeply and closed my eyes, tilting my head to the side.

I quickly snapped out of my trance and moved his head. "Okay, I'm gonna go take my stuff upstairs."

"Let me get it." He took my bags from me and began to walk up the stairs. I sighed and began to take a seat on the couch, until I heard yelling coming from outside. Furrowing my brows I walked out to see Jayda squatting by a collection of cages.

"Bitch, he got dogs! Fuckin' animals!" She exclaimed in awe as she stared into the cage of a fluffy white dog.

"Jay, I can hear you from inside." I chuckled.

"Shoulda left her ass at home." Skylar mumbled.

"We shoulda left yo' lame ass at home, but here you are and nobody's complaining." Jay rolled her neck at her sister.

"Whatever, where's my nephew?" Sky asked me.

"Our nephew."

"I said it right the first time." She put her finger up.

"Don't get smacked silly lil' girl. You get one kid to like you and don't know how to act." Jayda stood up, placing her hands on her hips.

"You're just mad because baby Aylor knows what a good auntie is. And that's on what?" Skylar flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"That's on wrong because no."

"Okay, can we change the subject? Jayda apparently I have a niece too so if you want to get a fresh start with a kid, there you go."

"But I wanted a mini you." She pouted. God, she's spoiled rotten.

"You can't always have what you want—"

"Aya, come here! Kenya's here!" Chris called after me. I took a deep breath and went inside with them on my trail.

"Bye Auntie KK!" The little girl waved to whoever was walking out of the door. She turned around to look at me and her eyes went wide. As did mine. She looked a little too much like me. She looked like somebody was lying around here.
