7-Jongsang: The maknae

Jongho's POV : 

I woke up this morning feeling so small due to the lack of sleep , we had a performance last night and believe me it's exhausting , and now i have to get up and go to get ready to leave for an interview , why don't we just rest for a day , i just wanna to sleep for maybe another two hours .

I snapped out of my thoughts when seonghwa hyung entered the room 

" you are already awake jongho ? good morning " he said ruffling my hair 

" good morning hyung " i greeted him back and he smiled 

" go get ready , we will have to leave in less than an hour " he said walking out of the room 

" do we really have to ? " i asked him with a whiny voice and he turned around to look at me with wide eyes before his face softened 

" jongho , are you feeling little baby ? " he asked me crouching down a bit to be in the same height and wiping my face , i didn't even realize that i was crying till he did so , i looked down and he hugged me 

" oh jongho , it's alright okay ? " he said kissing my head 

" hyung will be mad if he knows " i said gripping his shirt in my hand 

" hyung ? you mean hongjoong ? don't worry i will talk to him before we leave " he comforted me when i nodded 

" now go get ready and i will take care of the rest " he said patting my back gently 

" t'ank you " i said and he cooed loudly which made me blush lightly 

Yeosang's POV : 

I was sitting with hongjoong hyung and wooyoung around the table having our breakfast before seonghwa hyung walked down 

" did you wake him up ? " hongjoong hyung asked and seonghwa didn't replied , instead , he sat down next hongjoong and looked him in the eyes 

" listen , jongho is feeling little today " he stated and both of me and wooyoung choked on our drinks 

" what ? " hongjoong asked concerned and kind of worried 

" don't sold him or show him this frowning face of yours , let's help him go through it during this interview , alright ? " the eldest hyung asked and we all looked at hongjoong 

" it's not like i will be mad at him for that , but we need to hide it well during the interview " the leader said and seonghwa hyung literally jumped in his seat before leaning to kiss the leader's cheek 

" hongjoong best leader " he yelled walking to his room while hongjoong wiped his cheek 

" i hate skin ship  " 

" i will go and help jongho " i said going to the maknae's room to find him looking at his closet not knowing what to wear 

" how about your yellow sweater baby ? " i said hugging him from the back and he squealed which made me chuckle 

" hyung ? " he looked at me and i hummed 

" am i hyung baby ? " i teased him rocking us from left to right , and from where i am i can see the light shade of pink on his cheeks 

" it's okay jongho baby , let's get you changed before we will be late " he nodded and i took out his yellow sweater and black jean 

" wanna help ? " i asked him when i saw him struggling to take off his shirt and he nodded 

" thank you daddy " he said when i finished dressing him up and i smiled at him 

when we heard a knock at the door , we both looked at that direction to see hongjoong hyung standing there 

" hey baby " he said and jongho looked from behind me " come here sweetie " he opened his arms for the maknae and the latter went for it 

" hyung won't be mad at you no matter what happens today so don't be scared , and if you slip completely please tell one of us alright ? " the leader said sweetly and jongho nodded thanking him 

we walked out of the dorm and went directly to the place of the interview , jongho stood by my side all the time , and at some point , i felt him squeeze my hand and i looked at him to notice his teary eyes and wobbling bottom lip , i held his hand in mine secretly since we were sitting in the back row 

" shh it's okay baby , it will be -" i couldn't even finish my sentence when the host started talking to him 

" jongho-ssi , your vocals in this album were killing like always and that made hundreds of fans to fall in your love , can you please sing for us a little bit ? " 

i froze in my spot and was about to say a stupid excuse but i was cut off by jongho singing inception , his voice was normal and he sang it without any high pitch errors or anything , when he finished he thanked the host for complimenting him and the rest of the interview was peaceful . 

After finishing the interview , we walked to our van and the second we got in , he threw himself in my arms crying 

" daddy ... " he sobbed and i held him in my arms 

" daddy is here baby , don't cry please , i am proud of you , we are all proud of you , you did so well today " i said in a soothing voice trying to comfort him 

" your daddy is right jongho , you did so well " wooyoung said from next to me caressing the maknae's neck 

eventually jongho stopped crying and in a minute he drifting to sleep sucking on his thumb which made all of us coo quietly since we didn't want to wake him up . 

i carried him to his room , and took his shoes off then laid him down on the bed before cuddling him , he immediately leaned into my chest and tugged his head in my neck , i smiled down at him and kissed his forehead before sleeping too.
