Chapter 4
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!
Gan Ning's alarm-clock went off.
SMACK!
Gan Ning hit his head again on the cabinet above his bed.
"Ow, not again!!" He winced. "Oh well, I might as well get my sleepy ass out of bed 'cause May Ning is taking me, Ling Tong, Lu-an, and Lu Xun to the amusement park today."
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!
"AHH!" The surprised pirate jumped out of bed and hit his head for a second time.
He then launched his alarm-clock towards his door right when his mom opened the door.
THUD, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!
"What in the name of the devil, Ling Tong!?!?" The pirate, quickly got dressed, and ran into the hallway, past his jacked-up alarm-clock and then ran down the stairs to see his mom laying on the floor. "GAN!" she screeched.
"Yes ma?" he said in a cracked voice.
"Help me up!" She answered.
He did as he was told and asked, "Are you ok?"
"Yes, yes. I may be old, but I tough." She said sighing.
"Ma, now may not be the best time, but I need to meet friends at the-"
Before he even finished she said,"Go!"
As Gan walked to the fair he saw Ling Tong walking too. Gan Ning ran up to him and said, "Whaz up?"
"Oh, hi, Gan Ning." He answered.
"You don't sound too happy to see me..." He said joking.
"Yes Gan, I'm real thrilled to see you." Ling Tong joked back.
"Hmm, I catch a hint of sarcasm." Gan said smiling.
"You know me." Ling replied. "So..." Ling Tong said.
"Race you there!" Gan said as he ran down the side walk past Lu Xun.
"Hey wait I'm comin' too!" Lu Xun yelled as he caught up to the two. Ling Tong was in first, Gan Ning was in second, and Lu Xun was last. As Ling Tong turned the corner they herd:
BOOM! and then two girls scream.
Gan Ning and Lu Xun quickly turned the corner and saw that Ling Tong ran into the girls and was laying on the ground. Then May Ning fell into Gan Ning's arms and Lu-an fell into Lu-Xun's arms.
"Good morning." Gan said smiling. Everyone laughed.
At the amusement park there were like a trillion rides and things to do there.
"Where do you want to go first?" May Ning asked
"I wanna ride a rollar coaster!" Lu-an said looking around.
"Let's ride the pirate ship!" The pirate said.
"Oh, I didn't see that coming." Ling Tong said sarcastically.
"I wanna eat something, I'm starved!" Lu Xun said.
"I wanna go see the dolphin show!" Ling Tong said.
Everyone got silent and stared at Ling Tong.
"Ok, ok I'll just eat with Lu Xun."
"Alright!!" Lu Xun said running toward the hot dog stand with Ling Tong.
