I put my sunglasses on as I walk through the exit door of the airport.
It is indeed hot in here.
I removed my jacket that reveals my outfit. I'm wearing a plain black shirt and a ripped jeans, simple lang para hindi ako makakuha ng atensyon.
I checked my watch, it is 8 in the morning, still early to call them, mamaya nalang ako tatawag sakanila para ipaalam na nakarating na ako.
I waited for a taxi outside the airport. Hindi naman din nagtagal ay may huminto din na taxi sa harap ko. I got my wallet and handed the taxi driver a piece of paper containing the address of the apartment where I'll live.
"Paki hatid po ako sa address na yan manong" I said politely to the old man. He just replied okay and continue driving.
We stopped in front of an apartment building, kinuha ko lang yung nag iisa kong maleta at bumaba na ng taxi.
I stepped in the building and headed to the elevator and pushed the 9th button. I entered my apartment and throw myself on the bed.
Tinanggal ko ang salamin ko.
I'm tired.
A small smile slowly form on my lips.
By the way, the name's Crizsh Irah Valentin. I came back here in the Philippines for a mission.
