Chapter 33

Irene's Pov

Few days later

"Lisa" I said into the phone getting the attention of the girl on the other end.

We decided to FaceTime when I get back to the hotel after red velvet concert and Lisa got back from blackpink promotion event I could tell she was exhausted and she was about to fall asleep on the phone.

"Hmm?" She answered as she rubbed her eyes

"Baby" I giggled a bit "you look exhausted go get some sleep"

"I wanna talk to you," she whined a bit , laying down with her phone resting against the pillow on the side of her.

"How about I talk and you listen untill you fall a sleep?" I suggested watching her nod as her eyes began to get heavy.

I smiled slightly and started to tell her about my day , watching her eyes slowly started to close.

She tried to fight it , opening them right back up after they would fall shut, but soon enough she gave up and her eyes slammed shut
I waited before confirming to myself that she was in fact enough

"Goodnight love" i whispered before hanging up the phone

I sat back on the couch flipping through channels in attempt of finding something worth watching.

"Lisa?" I called as I entered her apartment

We had been officially dating for a few weeks now and it was honestly amazing

She had taken me to few more dates and basically treated me like a queen as often as she could

"Lisa?" I called out again confused why her front door wasn't locked

She hasn't responded to any of my messages all day and I was starting to get worried.

I walked farther into her apartment following the sound of guitar I could hear someone playing.

"Lisa?" I stated when I turned to the corner and saw her sitting on a couch with her guitar

She jumped slightly , turning and visibly relaxing when she saw me standing there.

"Hey you never said you were coming over" she said , standing up and walking over to kiss my lips

"Yes I did," I said unlocking my phone to show her multiple messages I sent her earlier.

She furrowed her eyebrows and pulled out her phone from her pocket clicking the home button only to show a dead battery.

"Well that explains why didn't get your messages," she laughed.

"I was worried" I told her making her look back over at me "why was your door was unlocked?"

"I don't know" she shrugged "I've been all over the place all day

"Lisa you have to calm down" I told grabbing her hands pulling her to sit in the living room

she has been super busy with work and her practice

"I can't" she admitted , brushing out her hair out of her face , which gave me the clear view of her tired eyes.

"You look exhausted" I said

"Thanks" she said sarcastically making me roll my eyes.

"I'm serious lis," I said "when was the last time you actually slept."

She hesitated on answering which I didn't like at all.

"You have to take better care of yourself." I said

"I know , I know" she said leaning back on the couch

I got up from the couch and made my way towards the kitchen and getting her a bottle of water and granola bar

She gave me odd look when I walked back in before she saw what I was holding

"Eat this , drink that" I told her as I gave them to her.

"Bossy" she said as she opened the granola bar and began eating it.

"I wouldn't have to be if you took care of yourself" I said

"Stop scolding me" she whined like a kid as she drank a bit of water.

"You know if you took care of yourself half as well as you took care of me you would be so much healthier" I told her which made her smile shyly as she finished the granola bar and drank some more water

"I'm tired" she said as she leaned her head on my shoulder

"I know" I said helping her up before I led her to her room "let's take a nap"

"Can you play with my hair" she asked shyly when we laid down on the bed

"Yes" I giggled a bit

She hummed in content as she cuddled into my side.
