To You, The Immortal

Inspiration is sometimes drawn
From strangest place
Like the gaze from the eyes
Of imaginary face
Punk(d)tuation intended
Thoughts and words blended
Overlapping
Each other
One letter running ahead
Of the other (thought?)
Thoughts aren't always words
Sorts (through mumbo jumbo)
Order; is the law of the jungle
Sadly; art thrives in the jumbled
Pieces of scattered insp.(iration)
Pieced together with my ink

Back on course
The scenario in question?
Inspiration..drawn from revelation
Disguised in the eyes
Of a character painted
By God knows who
(Indifferent to names)

This character stuck
In cold, winter, frost
Abandoned, no food or luck
Lost
And in the abyss of it all

His dog makes it's way back
(Real dog died of the cold)
The orb from the sky
Drawn by it's tracks
Disguised
Makes it's way onto
The master's lap
Days go by
Orb(dog) slowly tries
Grasping the meaning of life
In the..
In the eyes
Of the unyielding spirit
Colouring the boy's life
Before he..
Before he died

He said one thing
Deep as the sea
To the immortal orb(dog)
That could not die as we
Die
Slowly
With the last of his strength
Muttered
"Don't you ever forget me!"

Cold, licking his cheeks
Puppy dog eyes; waiting..
For him to breathe
All that's left being
Just a memory
No.. much more than that
The burden of his legacy
In the undying eyes
That observed his way of life
His will to survive
When death could be..
Given into.. so easily

 so easily

Simply put, words, though beautiful, oftentimes fail in some respect in the realm where a life without words can exist
