"YAY for Y/N!" Thomas hollered and everyone crowded around me as they cheered.

"Let's go by the fire and play some games," Alby suggested. Everybody groaned since the boys really enjoyed the fights more than anything, but they obliged their leader.

We all took a seat around the fire. I sat next between Thomas and Newt.

"LET'S PLAY TELEPHONE!" Chuck screamed excitedly, and I couldn't help but laugh at the childish selection. Telephone, I can't even remember the last time I had played that. Definitely when I was in school... but what school did I go to? Did I go to school? I shook my head as my brain attempted to connect the memories and knowledge that I knew were no longer in my brain.

"What the bloody hell is that?" Newt asked, "I don't remember that game."

"Well, that's cuz you're lame," Chuck mumbled, but then spoke louder. "Someone starts by whispering a sentence to the person next to them, and then that person tells the person next to them what they heard; it goes around the circle until the last person says it out loud. Newt, you start and then say it to me! Y/N will then be the last to say it!" He explained.

"Ok.." Newt said. He thought for a minute before whispering the sentence into Chuck's ear. Chuck giggled like a schoolgirl and looked at me.

"OK!" He passed it to Zart, who passed it to Alby, who passed it to Jeff, and so on. Then Thomas leaned over, gently placing my hair behind my ear, which caused me to blush, before whispering.

"I have plenty of candy cane onions with Y/N?" I blurted out. Everyone started laughing. "Yea, that makes sense," I laughed.

"Now Newt, tell everyone what it really was!" Chuck giggled.

"Wait that was part of it?" Newt coughed awkwardly.

Chuck nodded happily, and Newt suddenly looked panicked.

"uhh..uh It was "I like Y/N's fighting skills." Newt stammered, avoiding my gaze as I peered at him curiously.

"NoOooOo, that's not what you said," Chuck explained, elbowing Newt's side, "You said, "I have a-" Newts reaches over and abruptly out a hand over Chuck's mouth.

"ITS TIME FOR LITTLE BOYS TO GO TO BED!" Newt said and Chuck pushed the hand away from his mouth, "No it's not-"

The boys and I stared at the interaction confused. I looked up at Newt innocently, cocking my head to the side as I chuckled.

"YEA- LET'S PLAY A DIFFERENT GAME!" Newt yelled, and adjusted himself on the log, looking at me through the corner of his eye, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Truth or dare!" Clint said, smiling to himself as he folded his arms.

"Oh my god, what are we, five?" Thomas mumbled, and I laughed, pushing into his side.

"I agree, you're kidding?" I stared at Clint, "what a cliche..."

"Thomas truth or dare?" Clint snorted, ignoring the other protests from the gladers, and Thomas rolled his eyes.

"Hmmm. Dare." He replied.

Clint gave him a mischievous grin. "I dare you to kiss Y/N on the cheek."

"Oh wow, never would've seen that coming." I rolled my eyes, folding my own arms as I turned to look at Thomas, before dramatically moving my face towards his, cheek turned up in his direction.

"Someone is eager," Thomas laughed, and he leaned down, kissing my cheek quickly. I felt my face head up as his soft lips gently left my skin, before shaking my head.

"You know, I technically didn't consent, right?" I gave him a small smug smile.

"Well, I'm sure you didn't mind since it was from me." He winked, nudging his shoulder with mine.

"Wow, cocky Thomas." I laughed and pushed him back, enjoying the playful exchange. The two of us shared our moment of banter as the others watched, some of the boys jealous. I felt Newt in particular tense up next to me, muscles contracting till his arms were firm and pale. I stopped looking at Thomas before I looked over at Newt, giving him a concerned look.

"You alright?" I whispered as my eyebrows crossed with worry. I scanned his expression, watching him stare intensely into the fire with a clenched jaw, the reflection of the fire dancing back in his dark eyes. He nodded gently but didn't move otherwise.

"Well anyway." Thomas broke the moment of silence, "Newt, truth or dare."

"Dare." He mumbled quietly, before looking at Thomas and raising an eyebrow, awaiting his most likely childish quest. And childish it was.

"I dare you to take off your shirt and pants, and run around the glade saying: "IM A FREE MAN" while doing ballerina spins." Thomas snickered, clearly thinking his idea was hilarious, but in fact, it was stupid.

"You've got to be kidding me," Newt gave him a cringed expression, face contorting into a look of 'really'.

Thomas shook his head enthusiastically, "I am, in fact, not kidding you."

"Fine. But I'm keeping my bloody pants on." Newt stood up, yanking his tank top up from his stomach over his head, something that immediately caused my heart to race and my mouth feel dry. I tried my best to not look at his torso, but dang was it hard. I played with my shoelaces as a way to distract myself.

"IM A FREE MAN!" I heard Newt scream as his footsteps and voice trailed away. I turned around and looked at the boy. He did strange twirls and jumps throughout the field, attempting his best to do pirouettes. Everyone in the glade was laughing so hard. I couldn't help but crack a smile. He was so cute.

I could definitely feel myself starting to get feels for the British boy, and it scared me. I didn't want to be vulnerable, especially here in the glade.

"Ok, Y/N. Truth or dare," He yelled at me as he wandered back to the campfire we surrounded. I looked up, watching him waltz back, eying every detail of his core and arms as they moved with him, finding myself mesmerized until he was right next to me, pulling his shirt back on.

"Uh, truth," I said back. I didn't want anything to go crazy, so I decided against dare.

"Who do you have a crush on?" Newt asked, nosy and prying. I saw a little hope in his eyes as he placed himself next to me on the log, sitting back as if he was satisfied with his question.

"Who says I have a crush on anyone?" I said slyly, looking at him quizzically before turning my gaze across the fire where I saw Chris rolling his eyes.

"A place full of lads? Sure, there's got to be someone you're interested in." Newt pried.

"Yea, if not multiple," Another glader butt in.

"I'd rather not answer that question." I sighed, awkwardly twisting the ribbon wrapped around my wrist. I too did not really understand the answer to the question, and I sure wasn't going to share anything with every male in this place listening tentatively, all hoping for their name to be the glorified announcement.

"Awww come on!" Chris said and smirked. He knew who I was wanting to say.

"Come on Y/N!" Thomas said, "We are all dying to know."

"She must like someone since she won't say!" I heard someone yell, laughing. The other boys joined in.

"I don't wanna say it," I said.

"Come on!"

"Just do it!"

"Don't be such a girl."

"Say it! Say it! Say it!"

"For fucks sake, enough!" I yelled over the top of all the demands, standing up. I brushed my pants off. "It's nobody's business you stupid shanks," I said angrily, "Stop being so nosey."

"Y/N," Thomas grasped my wrist gently, tugging me to stay, but I pulled away kindly.

"I'm going to bed, goodnight," I stated, before wandering off.

I made my way into the deadheads instead, to try and blow off some steam, and just be by myself for a while.
