Right after Draco joined Fairy Tail, he and Makarov talked about where he came from and why his mother told him to find this guild specifically.

As it turns out his mother was a former member of the guild when she was younger and Master Makarov knew who she was.

"Your mother was a very powerful wizard when she was a part of the guild, and she always wrote to me telling me how she was doing," Makarov said to Draco. "I knew of your existence, but I never expected to meet you like this. I'm sorry my boy" he said.

Draco shook his head slowly and said "She had her reason for telling me to come here, and now I know. It's because she knew you would take me in as if I were your own child, without question."

Makarov nodded his head in agreement and told Draco, "My boy, this is your new home now. It is where you will grow strong and blossom into a fierce wizard."

"Every single guild member here is my child, all of you are my children, and I will care for you as if you were my own."

"Everyone in Fairy Tail is family, no matter where you came from. This is home my dear boy."

"Now that you're a member of the guild, you have to get your guild mark stamped on you," Makarov said. "Where would you want your mark to be?"

Draco pointed to his right shoulder and Makarov stamped it. His new guild marking was black with a dark red outline, mimicking the color pulsing through his left arm.

The newest member of Fairy Tail was home.

(Time-skip)

Nine years had passed since Draco had joined the guild at the age of 9. After only being in Fairy Tail for three years, he made it to S class when he at only 12 years of age, which was a new record in the guild.

Each passing year everyone in the guild watched his power grow exponentially. However, unlike Natsu or Gray, who would always butt heads constantly, Draco never had a rivalry with anyone.

He was mindful of the amount of power he had and made sure to never let loose and join in on the occasional guild rumble.

As he grew so did his left arm. Draco has yet to understand where it came from but knows that it's a part of him and accepted it. One time Draco was training with Erza, Mira, Natsu, and Gray and there was a boulder that looked as big as the guildhall. Everyone was arguing to see who could lift it.

In the midst of that argument, Draco went to pick up the boulder with his left arm easily and he even threw it. He threw it so far that it disappeared from their line of sight.

Everyone's jaws fell to the floor and their eyes were about to pop out of their sockets. Draco just stood there and flexed his arm.

Draco kept his emotions in check, which made him one of the most respected members in the guild on par with Master Makarov. He was also the most powerful member of the guild, beating Gildarts in raw power, but he would never admit it.

Everyone in the guild had a particular reason to be friends with Draco because he spent a lot of his time with many guild members.

Since he was part dragon, Natsu and Draco worked together on many jobs and built a deep friendship and brotherhood.

Natsu asked if he knew who Igneel was, but Draco didn't know if any dragons besides the one that murdered his entire village.

Natsu would always want to spar with Draco, but Draco still won by a complete landslide. Every time he won, he would always tell Natsu he fought hard and ruffled his hair.

The loss would hurt Natsu's pride, but he would quickly forget about his loss and become stronger because he looked up to Draco as an older brother.

Draco was just as much a brother to Gray as he was Natsu.
