Time - A Mortal Being

Every second, minute and hour
Is unique to every day;
For every day is an individual by itself,
To the differently illuminated life of ours.

Tomorrow is a day of no promises,
It is always full of surprises;
It appears at the will of the Lord,
And it is filled with hopes and disappointments.

Yesterday was no different, you'll say,
For you only see the daily, mundane routine;
But if you noticed the differences of the days,
One unique moment was filled with laughter and delight.

Our time of death is unknown,
That time shouldn't be our plight.
It is a time hushed by prayers of our beloved,
Before the ticking clock of ours stops.

When that happens, there's nothing to change
Of what we have left behind;
So leave the world a better place than it is
For the peace of our soul and the minds of our beloved.

Then there will come the time of the world,
Where everything ceases to be;
The world shall collapse and transient time shall be stilled,
The Doomsday shall begin to judge your entity.
