"Thoongeete irundha Valagaapu pannamaadhiri thaan" (start BGM)
Kathir freezes for an entire minute and finally asks Mullai:
"Ippo nee enna sonna?"
Mullai: (raises eyebrows) Hmm? Thai poosathappo poovum varusham muzhukka viradhamum irundha Valagaapu nalla nadakkumnu sonnen.
Kathir is too taken aback to respond. He turns away quickly and his face breaks out into a big grin. Thirty seconds of beard and eyebrow scratching later, he gets his embarrassment and amusement in control.
Kathir: (with a smile in his voice) Illa, poo vaanga koodathunu illa. Thai poosathappo keduchuthu, adhukkaporom thaan kadai ellam illaye. Adhaan poo vaanga mudiyaama pochu.
Mullai: (with a teasing smile) Oh appudi? Poo vaanga mudila, adhunaala viradham. Poo vaangunaathaan poosa poda mudiyumnu unga Kumaresan Mama sonnaahalo?
Kathir's eyes widen as the meaning of her words sinks in. He has a sudden urge to just jump on her on the bed and see how she reacts. Realising that he is beginning to lose control, he turns around and starts looking for something.
Mullai: Ennanga? Somba?
Kathir: (still facing away) Aama, Sombu thaan. Nee appudiye ukkandhu orandai izhuthukkittiru, naa sombu eduthutu thoongaren.
Mullai: Vaazhkaila evlo kolgaigal? Adha kadiapidikkradhula enna oru nermai? (Counts with her fingers) Sombu illaama thoonga koodaathu...Poo illaama poosa poda koodaathu...
Kathir stops searching and looks at her, amused:
"Ei"
He stops and mentally chides himself for using Ei again. He is determined to break out of that habit.
Mullai: (continues uninterrupted) ... aana Valagaapu mattum nadakkanum. Adhuvum en aasai padi.
Kathir: Mulla...
Mullai: ...aana Valagaappoda sari, paapava naa thittina ennaye konnupuduveeha...Viradham irundhe neenga konji konji paapa valappeeha...
Kathir: Mullapooo
Mullai stops her monologue in surprise. Sarcasm forgotten, she gives him a breathtaking smile. The smile melts Kathir and he kneels down in front of her. With a shy smile of his own, he whispers:
