Struggles.

DAY 1

I shoot up, looking around trying to put a face to everyone in the room with me. "Hey, you're finally awake! We wanted to look at your phone to see what your name was, but that's apparently against the rules." Say a girl that looks very welcoming, and has a kind voice, "So what's your name? We'll all go around and reintroduce ourselves since we're all new to each other. My name is Rei!"

"Hi... Uhm, my name is Liv. Do you know why we're all here? Or are you all just as clueless?" I ask. "Well, we don't have any ideas. But this rabbit plushie came on a screen earlier, and said they'd explain when we're all awake." Some guy in the back mentions, "Also, my name is Kade." he says. There are about twelve of us here. Too many for them all to introduce themselves one by one.

A rabbit comes on the screen. It has a low, but feminine voice."Welcome sleepy heads! I see you're all finally awake! Took you enough time." They say. A shy voice then speaks, "Uhm" she stutters some, "R-rabbit, why are we here? W-where is our family? We came here with them." He says. "Well, you see... They're dead!"

Everyone was silent for a few minutes until someone spoke up, "You're kidding! They can't be dead, we were just with them! They dropped us off not too long ago!" they sound distraught, and I don't blame them. I still can't handle what they just said. "Haha! That's what you'd wish! The world is being taken over by my kind. And you're here because you all have unique talents. You're all the best at what you do." They say.

"Well, what can we do to get out of here?" Someone asks. We hear giggling, "Well about that.. You have to kill each other! But make sure you get away with it! If you don't then you're the next one that dies, and we wouldn't want that, now would we?" everyone has a collective gasp, "None of us will do that! That's insane, we all have human decency!" Rei says. Everyone agrees with her. "Well if you don't kill someone by the end of the week, then I'm afraid that I'm going to have to take matters into my own hands." They say. "Well, it's almost night time! So before you all go to bed, if you'll come to look in the box on the stage, then that'd be great!" the screen then turns off. I head up there, and it's all just photos, and a disc attached to the back. My photo was a photo of my family and me eating dinner together on my sixteenth birthday last year. I feel a few tears roll down my cheek, but I don't even bother wiping them away.

I make my way to the room that has a tag with my name on it. I walk inside, and there's a DVD player for the disc, and I'd imagine everyone else got one too. I put it in, and it's a video of my family telling me congratulations for making it into such a nice club, and that they'd see me when I get out. They're trying to give us a false sense of hope so that we'd all go crazy and kill each other. I ignore it and go to bed as the rabbit had told us to do earlier.
