Beautiful Sway

Tonight I'm gonna dance
For all that we've been through
But I don't wanna dance
If I'm not dancing with you

I pressed the button on my earphone, and the music abruptly stopped. That's one of Taylor Swift's songs titled 'Holy Ground.' It manifested how a once good relationship just ended like nothing happened.

Just like other relationship does.

But, my mind wasn't on the relationship the songs telling. I'm into something.

Something I almost forgot, something I left behind, and something I regretted I didn't do.

I leaned back at my chair that sitting sideways at the wide squared window, letting my arms and elbow rested at the armchair. My gaze stared down at the teens practicing their dance moves at the side of the street. They're laughing and merrily chatting as they dance. The happiness and contentment were shown on their faces every time they discovered new moves.

I pursed a small sad smile.

I used to be like that. I used to be a jovial and enthusiastic dancer. I'm so full of compassion in dancing that I almost let it make my world go round. I let it moved for me.

I still remember how thirsty I am to know every sways, every moves, and every twists that the world know.

I still remember it...

I let my head rested at back of my chair and closed my eyes as I reminisces what I am years ago, what I have before and what I lost.

And why I am here...

"Salome!

And that when music began to took over our bodies.

We started to jump up, and shook our tambourines, synchronizing it at the fast beat of the song. We made a twirl, done a twisted jump while shaking the tambourine at our hands, all of it coinciding at the rhythmn of the song.
