In lunch, Christina grabs my hand and pulls me torwards a table with a lot of people.

"Everyone, this is Tris. Tris this is Uriah, Zeke, Lynn, Marlene, Shauna, Lauren, and Four but you already know who he is," she said winking at me and I blush.

Everyone says hey to me except Lauren. She just gives me a cold look. Everyone talks through lunch except me but when it's over, I go over to Christina and ask her what Lauren's deal is.

"Well, Lauren and Four dated a while ago and I think when I said 'you already know who he is' she took it the wrong way and thought you guys had something going on."

"Well, we don't I don't even know him and --"

I was cut off by the sound of a throat clearing. I turn around and see none other than Four standing behind us. I instantly start blushing and I turn away from him and make my way to Algebra 2.

Time Lapse ~ I skipped the Algebra class (because nothing happened) It's now GYM class.

When I got to gym and I changed into my gym clothes, Christina, Shauna, Marlene, and I start stretching and I see Four on the other side of the gym. 'Oh great,' I think to myself. 'He's in this class, too'. I sigh and continue to stretch. The gym teacher tells us that we will be running the track and I get excited. I love running the track. Outside of the Gate I was a track star.

Christina, Lynn, Marlene, Shauna, and myself start running but I get my first wind and I take off. I start humming to myself and I start going faster. I start singing out loud and before I know it, I'm in first place.

"I'm going in

I turn around and see Four smirking at me.

I just snort in response.

I keep running and then the coach tells us that we have to go inside and practice push ups and crunches. Lastly she says that the boys have to pick a girl partner.

Eric - me (ugh barf!)

First me and Eric work on push ups and I do 20 and he does 20. Then I do 40 and he does 40. I do 60 and he stops.

Then we do curl ups and while I'm bent down to hold his feet down, he's staring down my shirt. Looking at my boobs and not even trying to hide it. Wow he's such a pig.

While Eric's doing his curl ups, I look around and see Four scowling at me.

I ubruptly stand up and Eric looks me up and down smirking. I walk away, trying not to be sick.

We switch so I'm doing the sit ups and Eric walks away, bored I guess. I keep going and do mine when I feel someone step on my foot. I look up and see Four smirking at me.

"Hey, loser. Where's your partner," he asks.

"Probably somewhere bored. I don't know but I'm glad he's gone."

As soon as I said that I hear someone walk up to us.

"Well Four I'm pretty sure she was my partner."

"You can have her," Four says walking away.

~ Time Lapse. Next period

I get dressed and I walk to music class.

"Class we have a new student and as you all know every student has to sing a song on their first day," says the teacher.

I groan. "Are you serious?"

"Yes," she says with a tight smile.

"But I can't sing --"

"She's telling the truth," yells Four. "I heard her sing in gym class. It was horrible."

"Ugh, shut up Four," I growl.

I look back at Four after I said that and he has a smirk on his face. Ugh, he makes me so mad.

"I don't know what I'm going to sing," I complain.

I decide to go with the song I was singing while I was running track. "Yellow Flicker Beat" by Lorde. It's the only song I know all the words to.
