㊳I'll Let You Think About It

"Go, Tae, we'll take the beers." Jeongguk sighed. He saw the black-haired boy give him a soft look before walking out of the bar.

The two boys took their beers and sat at a table close to the bar. "You're really protective over him," Yoongi stated, nonchalant, and took a sip of his beer.

"I can't help it." He shrugged and mirrored his moves. He was the type to drink beer like it was water, so he drank half of it in one go. His hyungs knew about this habit of his, and at some point, they stopped scolding him about it. He wouldn't listen anyway. But as Taehyung returned to the bar, he discerned how fast he gulped down half of his beer and couldn't help but frown at his actions.

"I think Taehyung just glared at you," Yoongi snickered.

Jeongguk twisted around and looked at the boy, who just got behind the bar and placed some money in the till. He waited for Taehyung to raise his head, but when he didn't, he turned around again with a sigh.

"I guess he doesn't know that you practically inhale your alcohol."

"I'm not doing it on purpose."

"Well"—Yoongi cleared his throat—"since you talked to me about Taehyung," he trailed off, shifting in his seat. "I made out with Jimin."

Jeongguk was ready to take a sip of his beer but his movements stopped abruptly upon hearing what he said. "What, when?"

"After the party yesterday, Namjoon drove us home since he hadn't drunk much and Jimin was lying on me--"

"You hate that!" he cut him off with an amused chuckle.

"I do, I hate others getting into my personal space, but it didn't bother me that much. Anyway, we ended up making out in the back seat."

"Wow." He couldn't help but chuckle once more.

"Yeah. The problem now is that we haven't talked after what happened."

"Like at all?" Jeongguk's brows knitted in a confused frown, and he saw the older nod a second later. "Why?"

"He doesn't answer my calls."

"Hmm." Jeongguk leaned against the table and pinched his chin in thought. "Maybe we can ask Tae. They're friends."

"No. If Jimin finds out, and I'm sure Taehyung will tell him, he's gonna think I'm desperate about him or something."

"And you're not?" Jeongguk arched a sly brow with his inquiry.

"Of course I'm not." He scowled at him. "I just don't understand why he's avoiding me, that's all. It's not like I can't stop thinking about him or the kiss. And it's not like I'm gonna run after him. I'm just curious."

"I get it, you don't think about him at all," he taunted and burst out laughing, causing the other to groan.

"You're a brat." Yoongi tsked as he reached out to smack his shoulder.

The two boys continued chatting, and soon enough, Taehyung appeared in front of them, dressed in his casual clothes, and holding his bag in his hug. Jeongguk gazed at the boy with a fond smile as Yoongi tensed up the moment he saw him. Nothing was said as Taehyung sat next to the younger and placed his bag under the table.

"How was work?" Jeongguk curled an arm around his shoulders and edged closer to peck his lips, but he frowned as Taehyung shrank away from him.

"Not in front of your hyung," Taehyung muttered, his cheeks glowing a reddish color.

"I have literally caught you two cuddling, but suddenly kissing each other is too much?" Yoongi ventured to tease, and his rigid expression mellowed when he espied Taehyung breaking into a smile.
