Chapter 1: The Attack

Naruto POV

I woke up early in the morning to begin preparation to finish our journey to a spa, on the border of the Land of Fire.
As I got up I noticed how eerily quiet it got, I began to do a quick check of the camp, but as I came to the eastern side of the clearing.

Kakashi POV

I woke up after hearing the sound of a small explosion, so I got up to check it out, as I looked around I noticed Naruto lying in on the ground with a man towering over him, so as quickly as I could, I flashed through a quick set of handsigns, forming a chidori and ran at the figure.
"CHIDORI!" I shouted
As the blade of lightning travelled through the man's heart he spoke "have...fun..." I stood there my hand coated in this man's blood before I got over my shock and carried Naruto to the others so we could decide what to do, we decided to set off to the spa so that we could be there by sunrise and so Naruto could rest.

Naruto POV

I was running through the streets of Konoha hoping to evade the mob of villagers chasing me, as I rounded a corner I saw. I was in a dead end.

They beat me to a bloody pulp, carved words into my skin and just to add insult to injury they poured alcohol into my skin, then I blacked out...

Kurenia POV

I walked into the room Naruto was staying in, as I walked in what I saw, disturbed me, I saw Naruto's body slowly shrink to the size of a four year old, as a note was placed next to him.
'This jutsu causes the person to be sent back to the worst day of their life and will make them stay at the age they were with only the memories of them at that age'

I began to panic and shouting for help

Naruto POV

I began to open my eyes, but quickly shut them when the light hit them, then I tried again only to be in agony.

??? POV

Everyone stood around Naruto wait for the four year old to wake up, suddenly the small 'boy' began to stir, but then
"Poof!!"
Lying on the bed was a small girl.
Her eyes slowly began to flutter open, then, the moment she caught sight of the group and quickly flashed into the corner to cower in fear.
"Please no I'm not a Demon DONT HURT ME" she spoke fear evident in her voice and tears lining her scarred, bloody face.
"OK little girl, who are you and why would we hurt you?" Asked Sakura
"M...my N..name I..is Naru Uzumaki" the small girl, said shivering in fear.
"OK all of you boys, out!" Kurenia spoke

Once all the boys left the room the girls began to look over Naru's broken and cut body.
"Naru, who... Who did this to you?" Asked Tenten with tears lining her eyes.
"I...it...it wa..was.. the...the villagers" Naru stuttered out still shivering.
"Naru, let's get you healed and patched up, my name is Sakura Haruno, ok?" Sakura said in a sweet and caring tone
"So..sorry for trou..troub...troubling you Ha..Har..Haruno-san" Naru stuttered whilst looking at the ground
After Naru was healed and dressed, everyone decided that they should all get to know each other.
"So... What are we going to do with Naru?" Asked Ino to Kurenia
"Well I think we should try and get to know her, I mean she is the exact opposite of Naruto, she's shy, polite, smart and fragile so I think we should all get to know her since the jutsu appears to be permanent" Kurenia responsed.
