I was sitting in Billy's Camaro finishing my Cat Woman makeup, when Billy suddenly pumped the brakes making be jump as to not ruin my makeup. I looked over and gave him a surprised look. He pointed in the opposite direction and I had realised that we were at the party. I put my makeup down and stepped out of the car. Billy came jogging around the car and walked me up to the door with his hand on my waist. "Billy, how do I look?" I questioned.

He looked me up and down in my form fitting CatWoman costume and answered with "you look very...tight." While looking me up and down and biting his lip. I playfully rolled my eyes. I was about to respond with a smart comment but he was abruptly taken by a hoard of douches. Aka Tommy H. And the rest of the basketball team. I gave a little pout to the back of Billy's head as he was swept away and then turned toward the drink table to get something.

I walked up to the drink table to find a drunk Nancy slurring something to a very sober and very confused Y/n. I took Nancy by the arm to try to sober her up but she didn't listen "you've had enough, ok?" I said, trying to get her to set down the plastic red cup. "Get off, no" she retaliated. "No, no, no!" I pushed. "Screw you!" Nancy exclaims. "Nance, I'm serious. Hey!" I said trying to snag the cup that she was dunking in the punch bowl.

"Put it down." "No!" "Nance I'm serious, put the cup down." I say trying to take the cup. "Steve stop!" She says trying to tug it away from me, ultimately spilling it on herself. I look at her shocked and she walks out of the room. I follow her to the bathroom trying to make amends. "Nance, I'm sor-, nance it's not going to come off like that." I say as she runs the wet rag down her shirt. "It's coming." She slurred with her eyes dropping like she could pass out any second.

"Let me just take you home, ok?" "You wan- you wanted this!" She exclaimed. "No I didn't want this." I reasoned "bullshit." "N-no it's not bullshit." "Bullshit" "No it's not- it's not bullshit Nancy!" I said trying to make my way into the conversation. "No you, you're bullshit" she says. I look at her confused "w-what?" "Y-you're pretending like everything's ok, ya know, like, like we didn't kill barb." She slurs. She then continues with

"like it's great, like we're in love and we're partying, yeah let's party, party, we're partying. I-it's bullshit" I look at her with pain in my eyes and in my chest and say "l-like we're in love?" She looks up at me and states "it's bullshit" I cup her cheek and ask "you don't love me?" Not a single muscle on her face changes, not a twinge or a tick. "It's bullshit" she finalised. I walk out of the room with 1 million thoughts running through my mind. When I look around the party before I step out the door I see her.

I look around the party for billy, and as I stand up from the counter I tried to balance myself because I will admit I was drunk. A whole table of alcohol and nobody to talk to will do that for you. I was about to fall flat on my face when someone wrapped their arms around me, catching me.

I look at who the mystery man is and it's Steve. "Oh, hey Steve, thanks for that." I slurred. "Yeah, uh, anytime babe." I gave him a drunken smile and said "I thought Nancy was your 'babe'." I quoted. The twinge in his face was soon replaced by a smile as he put his hand on my waist. "Let's not talk about her tonight, I came over because I wanted to know about you" he said, trying to forget about the brunette who was hurling all that alcohol in the bathroom.

"I-I was trying to go find my billy." I mumbled trying to sound as sober as possible. He then rests his other hand around me and pulls me a little bit closer. "Why pick him?" He questions. "I look at him with an innocent puzzled look and said blatantly "w-well because I love him." Annoyance spread across Steve's face. Then his head moved closer, and closer, until finally I felt something warm touch my lips. It was his. I tried to push away but he wouldn't let me. I was struggling,  wondering where billy was and when he was going to come save me.

Billy's P. O. V.

I was glaring at the back of Harrington's head. Waiting for him to make one more move on Y/n so I could go and beat the shit out of him. First he went to help her stand, then he put a hand on her waist, then on on her hip, one more move and he's dead. As they were talking I kept reading Y/n's lips. She was definitely drunk. Hell, I could tell she was drunk from a mile away.

It's obvious, the droopy eyes, the staggering placement, as to try to keep herself balanced. But I will say she was a sweet drunk. I mean she was nice before but she becomes the nicest yet flirtiest drunk. I've only seen her get flirty with me when she was drunk so at least I know she's loyal.

I was growing bored with Steve's interrogation questions. I was about to walk away until I saw Y/n say something. She said she love me. I felt the smile grow on my face. Sometimes I don't even have to put guys in their places, she does it without realising.

That smile quickly faded though as I saw Harrington make a pass at Y/n. You could tell she was uncomfortable and wanted nothing to do with that so, me being me, I marched myself over there and beat the shit out of him. I pulled him back by his shoulder and gave him a good hit to the jaw. "Out of everyone at this party, you really wanna try to hook up with her?!" I say as my fists pummel his face.

He staggered getting up to his feet when I was pulled off by some guys who were near by. There was now a crowd around Y/n, Steve, and me. "Billy, you don't deserve her. Not with all the bullshit you pull." He says and all the sudden I just see red. "You really think that with your background, she's still going to want to stick with you? Let's face It Hargrove. You're a ticking time bomb. It's only a matter of time until she says something that you don't like and you hurt her for it." He says.

My glare is like daggers with every word that comes out of his mouth. "You're nothing but a lowlife, pretty boy who sleeps around with girls until he gets bored with them." He continues. I look over at Y/n who seems hurt by the comment. She thinks she's one of those girls.

After seeing her self conscious like that, I wanted to burry Harrington in the ground for making her feel so small, so uncomfortable, so unwanted. I've felt like that before with my dad, and my step-mom, and even the shitty people I go to school with.

She was the only person who ever actually showed interest in me. Not my ass, or my abs, or even just my hair. Me. Before I knew it I was back on top of Steve. Swinging my left and right fist like a mad man. Y/n finally walked over to me and tugged me off. It was so gentle, not violent like she was embarrassed or annoyed.

It was like she didn't want to hurt me by pulling too hard. I looked over at her and my face instantly softened. She looked like she wanted to fall asleep. "Can we please go home, billy?" She pleaded. I looked at her, then at Harrington who was rolling around on the ground groaning.

I fixed my leather jacket and walked out to my car with Y/n. I opened the car door for her and jogged around to the drivers side. As soon as I got in she started talking. "Thank you, for getting Steve off me." She said quietly, while playing with her hands.

I took her hand and she looked me in the eyes. "What Steve said back there, about me sleeping around, that was the old billy." I explained. She gave an accepting smile while nodding her head and said "I know." "Good, Im glad." I said then ended it with a kiss on her lips and turned up the radio as we drove off.
