++ You're just plain ignorant ++

I checked the address for the second time on my phone before finally pressing the doorbell.

“Don's Pizza delivery. One hawaiian pizza and one pepperoni pizza. That would be 405 pesos.”

The maid immediately handed me the exact amount before closing the door wihout saying a word.

Tsk. What a rude woman.

Nagkibit-balikat ako. Well, whatever. At least I don't need to say 'Thank you' with a fake smile.

I tied my hair into a man bun as I walked away of the unwelcoming house. It was my last stop for the afternoon and I'm more than thankful that my shift is already done.

Today, was stressful as hell.

I just found out that Demise is just the daughter of Death. Aaminin kong nangamba ako ng konti nang biglang sumeryoso ang kaniyang awra noong nagkausap kami— considering the fact that she can execute me into bones if I ever provoked her.

Now I realized that Demise is just a reckless and irresponsible heir of Death who talks to a lemming plush toy. She's a total brat. I may not be a fortune teller but I can already forsee that she'll fail her so called mission.

And she had the audacity to try to trick me to be her lapdog!

“Hey, coffin man!”

Speaking of the devil.

I grunted inwardly. Can't I take a break from this distasteful craziness?

My eyes formed into slits when I saw Demise leisurely sitting on my Ducati. Her pale hands were waving at me. If I'm just a normal male species I would have thought that she's cute in her gummy smile and fancy gothic dress. But since I'm not dumb enough to fall for her charms, I'd rather call her pretty black dress a bad luck.

“Ano'ng ginagawa mo dito?” walang gana kong tanong nang makarating ako sa harap niya.

“I have a threat for you!” she chirped with a grin.

Again? This girl sure doesn't know the word give up.

“A treat? Wow, it's my pleasure to receive a treat from the daughter of Death. Is it a 100% discount for a 24 karat gold coffin?” matabang na pang-aasar ko.

She rolled her eyes heavenwards. “No, coffin man. A threat! Not a treat!”

“Stop calling me coffin man.”

“Okay, Noam. I have a threat for you!”

Paulit-ulit? Tsk!

I boredly wiped the sweat on my nape with my rough palms. I took a sideway glance at her while dusting my leather jacket.

“Ano na naman 'yan? Alam mong hindi mo ako matatakot kahit pa patayin mo ako ngayon mismo.”

I have nothing to lose anyways. My life is already fucked up as it is.

The corner of her lips rose into a mischievous smile. “Oh? I know that already, stubborn mortal. And I also know your countless sins, I can smell your wickedness from here.”
