REVERIE'S POV

I'm sitting at my desk, re-reading the notes I got from Asher. Nakakahiya din palang magpaturo sa matalino. He is so smart. Parang alam niya lahat.

But he keeps on bothering me. My mind, I mean. His past... why did he become cold and masungit? He was indeed annoying pero nung na-realize ko na he could've changed because of his past... I started to become less annoyed by his antics.

I would like to help him pero I am a hundred percent sure na susungitan lang ako n'on.

Si Klein lang ang close niya sa school. How did Klein cope up with his shitty attitude?

"Revs, kamusta first day mo?" biglang pumasok si kuya August sa kwarto ko without knocking. Aisht.

"It's okay. He was still masungit pero you can't deny the fact that he's really smart" sagot ko. He nodded. "Glad to hear. If you can't handle him na, you can come to me na lang. I can make time for you" sabi ni kuya. We may bicker sometimes pero siya talaga ang the best na kuya out there.

"Thanks, kuya. But so far, I'm fine naman" sagot ko.

"Okay.Call me if anything comes up. Good night!" sabi niya. Nag-good night na rin ako at naiwan uli ako sa kwarto.

Bumalik ako sa pago-overthink. I really want to help him. But how?

Should I make him fall in love?

Should I tell Klein that I want to help?

No. I'll look weird. Di ko naman sila close pa.

Should I just be friendly? Bubbly? Maybe I should, right? That's the only thing I can do nang hindi niya mapapansin.

While walking, I saw Klein and Ash so I immediately rushed to them.

"Uy, RC! Ikaw pala" bati ni Klein sa'kin. Buti pa 'tong kaibigan niya mabait. "Hi Klein. Do you mind if I walk with you? What's your next class ba?" tanong ko, hoping na parehas kami ng papasukan.

"Sa'kin, Math class. Kay Ash, Physics. Sa'yo?" I frowned. Leche bakit siya pa yung makakasama ko?!

"Too bad. Physics din ang next class ko" kita ko naman ang ngiti sa labi ni Klein. "No, that's good. Ash, ingatan mo si RC ah. Marami kasi yang stalker dito. Bye! See you later, my dude" sabi ni Klein at saka sinaluduhan si Ash bago umalis. I was left alone with this guy na nakasimangot. Probably because ayaw niya akong kasama.

'HAHA. Buti nga sa'yo'

Tahimik kaming naglakad sa hallway papunta sa classroom namin. Hindi siya nagsasalita. Chikahin ko kaya?

"Ash, bakit ang tahimik mo?" tanong ko sa kanya pero hindi siya kumibo.

"Uhm.. I hate to say this pero may itsura ka naman. Why don't you use that para, excuse me for the word... lumandi?" I asked him once again. Napatigil ako because he faced me with his serious face. I gulped.

"I've done it before. It didn't do any good to me" sagot niya. Mas lalo lang akong na-curious sa past niya. I can really feel na may nangyari talaga noon.
