aged up to 16/17!
"shh..." mike whispered before kissing my cheek, then my lips.
i laughed when he pulled away, "i'm trying."
mike smiled & placed his hand on my cheek, caressing the skin with his thumb.
he sighed, "i wish we could do this all the time."
my smile turned into a frown, "i know, babe. but you know how they'll react..." i tried reasoning with him.
"yeah i guess so." he leaned in to kiss me again & i gladly accepted. our innocent kiss soon turned into a make out session.
we sat in his room, away from everyone. although we knew that they would want to hang out soon, i treasured these moments alone with mike.
we haven't let the party know that we're seeing each other. we couldn't let them know, they wouldn't agree with it. they all think that mike & el are supposed to be together.
they tell him all the time about how her & will are coming to visit for winter break.
he tries to act excited but i know how he feels.
he's lost feelings for el. after they moved away, mike & i started getting closer. we were close before el came into the party, but after they started dating i realized that i lost my best friend. & that i was never getting him back.
until he told me how much he loved me after joyce took will & el & moved them away.
at first i was mad because i felt like a second choice, but mike has spent the last four months making it up to me.
we are very much in love. i know that it's wrong to do this, but i've wanted mike to be mine since we were kids. when it was just us with lucas, will & dustin. no el. max is cool though, but she's really good friends with el, so i know she wouldn't agree with it.
mike reached down for my hand & brought it up to his lips, tenderly kissing it. "i love you so much." he said.
"i love you more."

it was december 23rd & i was dreading today.
el & will come to visit today.
i'm gonna have to watch her gush over mike & i don't know if i'll be able to.
we were all downstairs of mike's house, waiting for them to arrive. i heard a car pull up outside & then the door handle rattled. i groaned & wanted to disappear.
i turned to look at mike & he was already staring at me. he made sure no one was looking & blew me a kiss, reassuring me that it was gonna be okay.
i smiled to the best of my ability back at him, but my smile quickly dropped when the door finally opened.
first to walk in was will with el following behind & joyce was the last.
everyone went to hug the two, then hugged joyce.
mike & i were the last to hug them & i watched as el's face lit up, making me want to throw up.
she was getting too close to my boyfriend. mike's face was kind of emotionless but you could tell he was trying to smile.
