CHAPTER 2

CAMILA'S POV.

"YOU LITTLE SHITE" I was woken up to Dinah screaming at... probably Kenzie. I groaned and pulled the red and yellow blankets over my head.

"YOU CAN'T JUST GO 'ROUND JUMPING ONTO PEOPLES BEDS" Dinah continued to scream her posh accent clear as day.

"Well... It's time to get up" Kenzie's Irish accent rang out and I heard Lily groan.

Some pulled the covers off my bed so my body was met with the cold air in our dormitory.

"GET UP CAMZIPOO, GET UP!!" Kenzie chanted

"Any more yelling and Headmistress McGonagall is going to come and give us all detention!" Lily whined

Once all us were in our Gryffindor robes we headed to the great hall. Headmistress McGonagall was at her seat.... her gray hair in a bun like usual with her crooked hat on her head. On her left was an older looking man (though not as old as McGonagall) with a mean countenance. Then on her right was a large burly looking man. I sat down at the Gryffindor table, MacKenzie and Lily sitting across from me while Dinah sat next to me. Kenzie's sister, Brooke, was sitting on the other side of Kenzie and the two were whispering to each other about something.

"Ummm... Lily... who are all those professors?" I asked and Lily looked up from her breakfast.

"That's Professor Cowell... James and Albus told me he's an old hoot, he teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts and the head of Slytherin... And then that's Hagrid... he's the care of magical creature teacher... and one of my fathers best friends." Lily said an I nodded

After breakfast the first years were lead to our first period. A young witch with blue hair was sat on the desk watching us. She smiled at us when we came in. I took a seat next to Kenzie and Dinah and Lily sat behind us. Next to us was The green-eyed Slytherin and a Slytherin boy who had curly brown hair, a babyface, and big brown eyes. Then on our other side was Ally and another Hufflepuff girl with red hair. I turned to face the professor again.

"Hello, class! I'm professor Lovato... I'll be your transfiguration professor and head of Gryffindor house" she said smiling at us all. Kenzie raised her hand.

"Yes... blonde Gryffindor in the front" Professor Lovato said

"My names Kenzie O'Donnell... I was wondering... have you had my sister Brooke?" She asked and Professor Lovato.

"Oh... Brooke... yes.... interesting young laddie" Professor Lovato said her Scottish accent coming out.

The whole class snickered as Kenzie smiled wide.

The next class we had was Herbology with Professor Longbottom, then was Defense Against the Dark Arts with Professor Cowell... and now here we are at Flying with Professor Perry.

"Everyone stand by your brooms... please." Professor Perry said her bright blue eyes twinkling.

"Now... say 'up'... like really mean it," She said and we all started yelling at our brooms. I saw the Green-eyed Slytherin get the broom to come to her right off the bat. Once we all had our brooms up, Professor Perry was about to lecture us about the safety of flying when we were interrupted.

"KATY KATY!! WE NEED YOU IN THE DUNGEON!" Professor Swift, the potions professor, screamed.

Professor Perry's eyes widened and she turned to us.

"If anyone is to fly on their broom while I'm tending to this urgent matter, I'll have you out of here just as fast as you came," Professor Perry said threateningly and then ran off with Professor Swift in tow. When they left, all the first years looked around at each other.
