Chapter 20

" Oh doon ako nanggaling , gusto mo samahan kita? " I suggested

" Really? Yay . Thank you so much " she said joyfully and then hugged me

" No problem . But let me get my clothes first , I have to change first bago kita samahan , Is it ok ? " I asked her

" Sure thing . No problem " she agreed while I was taking a paper bag inside my locker and then we walked together towards the bathroom

" Are you a basketball player ? " tanong niya sa labas ng cubicle habang ako ay nasa loob , pumapalit ng damit

" Yeah . Sort off " tipid kong sagot

" That's  so cool , you're very talented if that's  the case . Maganda na , talented pa " she said while clapping her hands

Lumabas naman ako ng cubicle and laughed at her .

" Scratch  that " maganda " . I don't  like that " pag kontra ko sa kanya

" Bakit? Maganda ka naman ah . Look at yourself " she grabbed me in both sides of my shoulder and faced me to the mirrors

" Err . No haha " I said awkwardly while laughing

" Yes and  you have a great fashion sense  " she shrugged

" But hey . Hindi pa pala ako nakapag-pakilala sa iyo . I'm Ashley Greene Jones " she handed me her hand

" Sofia Crystal Mahome " at tinaggap ko naman ang kamay niya at lumabas na kami ng bathroom

" No wonder why you have that much confidence on your face and that great fashion sense and body , You are one of the Mahome's " she nodded as if may na realize  siya na bagay  while walking

I quickly covered her mouth

" Shh . Don't say that . Hindi ako mayaman . " and then I rolled my eyes

" Humble girl . " she giggled

" Ikaw ? How are you related to Kristian Charles Jones?  " I asked

" He's My bro , Do you know him? " gulat niyang tanong

" Well duh, he's a member of the Student Council " I shrugged

" Hindi nga ako makapaniwalang Vice President  siya . Mukhang hindi naman bagay sakanya " and then we both laughed

" Maiba nga tayo , you have very hot brothers , can you introduce me to one of them ? " she asked

" Gagi, kala ko may boyfriend ka na? " tanong ko sakanya pabalik

" Ay oo nga pala , I forgot " and then she scratched her head

" Nandito na tayo " I said and then we entered the gym

All eyes shifted on us .

" Babe " she waved at someone while we are walking towards the benches

Agad naman tumalima ang lalaki at dali-daling tumakbo papunta samin . So , her boyfriend is Henri Ren Zachariah huh

" Babe? Kala ko may family dinner kayo ? Ba't  ka nandito ? " he greeted his girlfriend 

" Ano kaba , I texted you that it was cancelled because Kristian is busy with school stuffs " she replied while hugging him

" By the way ,meet my new friend , she's very cool and she helped me get here . Her name is  Sofia Crystal Mahome " sabi niya pa at kumalas sa yakap nilang dalawa

Tipid naman akong ngumiti kay Henri at tumango . Wala naman siyang reaksiyon . He's  just looking straight  at me . Psh, rude

" Hey , greet my friend . You're  being rude " Ashley snapped her fingers infront of Henri

Agad naman siya tumalima and smiled at me

" Nice to meet you . Thank you sa pagsama sa kanya " then he pointed at Ashley

" No problem , Excuse me , pupunta muna ako sa mga teammates ko " Pagpapaalam ko sa kanila and headed to my teammates na nasa bench at hindi pa nakauwi

" Hoy ba't dipa kayo umuwi? Busy sa Sightseeing ? " I greeted them

" Boba , ikaw lang naman ang hindi pumapansin sa mga fafi dito eh " my other teammate replied

I just laughed at them

" Nagpalit kasi ako ng damit at  nakasalubong ko ang girlfriend ni Henri kaya sinamahan ko papunta dito, uuwi narin ako  " I explained

" Girlfriend  niya yun? "

" Mabait ba ? "

" Ang ganda niya "

" Sayang , may girlfriend na si fafi Silver pati ba naman si fafi Henri "

" Tangeks . Hindi iyon girlfriend ni Silver, partner niya iyon sa pageant " I immediately defended my friend

" Paano mo nalaman? " one of them asked

I just shrugged.  Fuck muntik na ako doon ah .

" Nakita ko lang " tipid kong sabi at tumayo na

" Well, uuwi nako . Bahala na kayo diyan " sabi ko at nagpaalam na sa kanila at umuwi

I passed by Henri and Ashley na naglalampungan at nagpaalam na rin ako sa kanila

" Bye Sofieeee , take care " Ashley said while Henri as usual , nakatingin lang ng malagkit  sakin

I nodded and then left

Weird . That man stares at me differently as if he's looking through my soul and reading my mind and it gives me creeps . I just shooked my head and drived home .

I ran through the hallways while putting my black hood on . As I turn right, I saw someone running towards my direction and wearing the same black hood but with a sign on it .

That time , I immediately thought. 

" Fuck. They're  really on duty "  I murmured
