Storms are very common when you live by the sea. Islands around the ocean as well.
Russel the raccoon and Azul the peacock luckily survived the phenomenon of a storm.
"My! What a storm!" Russel exclaims, walking from the bushes, followed by Azul.
"Yes, but unfortunately my feathers are very ruffled from the accident." Azul complained. "A prince never should be underdressed.."
Russel Chuckles at his friend's complaining and smell the air."The air smells fresh as ever after a storm!"
"Mmph.." Said a little voice, a little girl's voice.
Russel and Azul stopped in their tracks and look around for the voice.
"Did someone get shipwrecked?" Azul asked as Russel found the girl.
The girl looked confused as she tries to get up, her beautiful red hair and turquoise dress was soaked. Her blue and green eyes were filled with tiredness and dread.
"Where..ugh.." she whispered, looking around the place, getting on her feet, only trip on a branch and get saved by Russel.
"Oh!" She gasp, feeling the soft fur of the animal."You're soft..." She mumbles.
"Please be careful," he whispered
"I don't want a young girl like you to get hurt."
Azul comes over and helps her up."Exactly, a lady deserves the best, even though the worst times."
"Thank you, Mr. Peacock.."The girl said and turns to Russel."You too!" She grins, ignoring the shock faced on the animals.
"You understand what I'm saying?" Russel asked, looking at the girl.
"Shouldn't I?" She ask, tilting her head." I just heard your voices."
"What can you remember?" Azul asked.
The girl looked puzzled as she looks out at the sea."A storm..but nothing before that..." She said."My name was called but...I can't remember it."
Azul saw a chest in the distance and read it." 'Eve', that could be your name?"
"Maybe.." Eve said, looking at it."Should I just..wait here till someone comes?"
"Let's. But let us get you some of our favorite foods. We don't want you to starve." Russel exclaims, walking to the bushes, disappearing.
Eve held her legs together and looks at Azul. "It's gonna take a while..huh?" She ask.
"That's the case.." Azul said, shaking his head. "But don't worry! You have me! And you have Russel now. We're gonna be great friends."
Eve Giggles and nods."Yeah! Friends!"
Eve stayed in the island for about 11 years, she thinks. She's actually been having more fun than whoever she was before.
She was now Eve, the island girl, she claims herself to be.
Her feet pat against the sun, as the dolphins were heard in the distance.
"Come on, Pearl!" She said.
"Wait up, Eve!" The young elephant exclaims with a giggle.
Eve: Here on my island the sea says hello
Dolphins are waving wherever I go*Waves at the dolphins*
There’s a song on the breeze
And a home in the trees*Climbs on her tree*
Friends I can talk with whenever I please!*Looks at Pearl, Russel and Azul*
Azul: Here on my island the playgrounds are great
Russel: Slide every slide
Pearl: And you don’t have to wait
Eve: There’s so much to be seen
Pearl: From our new trampoline*jumping on a trampoline with the others*
All: Finding adventure’s our daily routine*Lands*
Russel: Birds and bananas
Azul: And comfy cabanas
Eve: And shell-covered vases to fill
Russel: Coconut glasses
Pearl: And mint with molasses
Azul: And pineapple patties to grill
Eve: Here on my island, there’s nothing but fun
Russel: Vines you can swing from
Azul: A nap in the sun
Pearl: There are mudpies to make
Russel: There are branches to shake*shaking a branch*
All:
Treasures await any road that you take
Eve: I’ll take the high path*Walking a mountain path*
Russel: And I’ll take the low path*Climbing down a hill*
Azul: And I’ll take the path through the sky*Flying*
Eve: I’ll jump the river*Jumping through a river*
Russel: And I’ll climb the mountain
Pearl: And I’ll stay here guarding the pie*Eating a pie*
Eve loved her island. It's where they can swing on wines and find different treasures. Even jumping happily in the lake, having fun. It was where she belongs at least..
All: Here on our island the days are a dream
Hanging together we work as a team
And the magic extends
Through our family of friends
Here on our island the fun never ends!
Eve Giggles as her and her friends go up on the trees again, as night slowly filled the skies.
Everyone was pretty tuckered out.
Eve let Pearl's head rest on her lap, stroking her gently.
"Can you sing the lullaby again?" Pearl ask, softly.
Eve smiles and nods."Of course."
She closes her eyes and starts to sing.
Sun goes down and we are here together
Fireflies glow like a thousand charms

"Where did you learn that song again?" She asked, yawning.
Eve sighs and looks up."I don't remember. It's just what I can know. But you know I can't remember all the lyrics."

Stars begin to climb

La la la la la
La la la la la
Eve stops as she heard Pearl tiny snores and smiles.
"Good night, everyone." She whispered as she drift to sleep herself.
