chapter one

lee eunha was working her job in a little local bakery.

she was placing the newly baked goods in their given baskets, so they looked somewhat pleasing to the eye.

after her job of placing the pastries, she went back to the kitchen once again, to make some more.

she would never tell anyone, but she preferred her job over anything. it kept her busy and gave her money for baking and making people happy, which were two of her favourite things to do.

somehow she managed to screw up one of the designs on a cupcake, and internally screamed. that was one of the things eunha hated the most.

she put the cupcake on the tray anyways, and finished the rest.

“eunha-unnie! can we switch, so you take the orders and i make the food? i'm getting tired of human interaction at this point..” her co-worker, kim jiwoo asked with a slight smile.

“sure, i think that would be good for me anyways.” the two girls laughed at eunha's words, before switching jobs for the time being.

“oh! take the tray while you're at it.” jiwoo handed her the tray of cupcakes eunha had decorated earlier.

“of course.”

while working, eunha handed out the messed up cupcake to a girl. the only reason she realized, was because of the girl's striking beauty. she had long, dark brown hair, and black eyes. her skin was pale, her lips were pink, and eunha couldn't help but to stare at her.

she was polite, and didn't seem to mind the weirdly decorated pastry she got. maybe she just didn't notice.

all eunha could hope, was that the girl would come back.
