"Get her inside." The main with blue hair ordered to someone who I couldn't see. His voice was very unique, just like his face, his hair color, and his appearance in general.

After he said the last sentence, I felt the two pair of arms lifting me from the ground as if I was a feather. Although I felt extremely exhausted, I couldn't help but let a few tears escape my eyes. Those arms that were holding me reminded me of the flashback I had just moments ago, of me being dragged into the darkness.

"Hey, no crying, okay? You are safe now, there's no need to be afraid." I heard a deep, yet gentle voice whisper to me while carrying me into a house of some kind. For some reason, that voice sounded familiar.

I kept slipping in and out of my consciousness, so I couldn't really pay attention to where I was being taken. I just knew that, in one moment, my body felt the soft support of what I assumed was a bed.

As soon as the two mysterious people who carryied me here placed me onto the bed, they turned around and left, not even letting me thank them, let alone see their faces.

Although I felt as if my eyes were going to close any second, I still spared a weak glance across the room I was in. Other than the rather huge bed, there were also a few books placed on the shelve above a nightstand, along with a wardrobe and a mirror that was quietly hanging on a wall.

All in all, it looked like a pretty normal room. Being so different from my cold, empty prison cell, it brought some kind of inner peace to me, despite lying here for barely a few minutes. That same peace was probably what allowed me to escape to the land of dreams so quickly, finally getting some rest after a night full of running and fighting with the wierd shadow-like beings called the Irregulars.

I don't know how long I had been sleeping when I heard the sound of someone entering the room quietly. I pretended I was still asleep, keeping my eye barely open just to see the face of my sudden visitor.

I realised that it was actually another boy, but I surely haven't seen this one before. He had a really sharp jawline, high cheekbones and perfect eyebrows. His silver hair was falling over his forehead messily while he was carefully carrying what seemed to be a bowl.

After he finally approached the nightstand, he made sure to place the bowl on it before taking a seat on the edge of my bed.

"I know you're awake." He suddenly spoke, wearing a cunning smile on his face.

Since I didn't expect him to say anything, I couldn't help but flinch a little once I heard his clear, profound voice.

When he saw my reaction, he just giggled.

"I thought so." He gave me a wide smile, and then pointed at the bowl on the nightstand. "You must still feel extremely tired, but I brought you something to eat. Oh, and by the way, my name is Dejun."

"Dejun." I repeated in order to see how that pretty name felt spoken from my mouth, just like when people would try out new clothes. "Where am I?"

"Somewhere safe." He said calmly, looking around the room we were in. "Do you like it?"

I nodded as a response. Anything's better than a prison cell.

"There's one thing I don't understand. Why did you even help me escape?" I asked. "I don't even know any of you."

Instead of answering, Dejun just gave me an emphatic look.

"It's complicated." He admitted while playing with the edge of my bedsheet. "And I don't think I'm the right person to tell you all of it. After all, there's a lot that I still don't understand."

"What do you mean? When will I get my answers, then?" I wanted to know.

"You should eat now." Dejun dodged my question, taking a bowl from the nightstand and gently placing it on my lap. "I understand your concerns, Leiyu."

Just like Ten, he knew my name, I thought. And I never even introduced myself.

"The fact that a bunch of strangers helped you escape prison is probably very confusing to you." He continued. "But I can assure you that we are not the bad guys. Sooner or later, you'll see for yourself. Although I'm pretty sure you already feel it."

I didn't want to admit it, but he was right.

I tried some soup from the bowl he gave me, thankfully nodding to him when I felt how good it tasted.

"I haven't eaten proper food in years." I smiled sadly, remembering the strange prison meals that made me forget my past life.

"I can only imagine." Dejun said, a sad expression appearing on his face.

Then, he stood up.

"I'll let you have your meal in peace. Once you regain your strength, you'll be ready to meet the others." He said.

"The others? Have many of you are there?" I wanted to know.

He just smiled gently before opening the wooden door.

"Seven. There are seven of us."

A/N: This chapter is a bit shorter than the previous ones, because I know from personal experience that chapters that are too long tend to be hard to concentrate on or even boring. However, I hope you like the story so far! Let me know what you think of it :)
