"Anong oras ka na umuwi kagabi?" Drey asked as Zach took a seat.

"Why?" Zach asked with his brows raised.

"Anong 'why?' ka dyan? Naalimpungatan ako hatinggabi dahil sa tawag ni Tita. Hinahanap ka niya eh."

"Ahh. Around 1 am." He said casually.

"What?! Alam mo, buti nalang di ka babae. Kung nagkataon baka inisip na naming nakidnap or ginahasa ka na."

"Don't overreact. Something just came up last night."

" Tapos pwede ba? Try mo namang magsalita ng plain Tagalog. Three years ka na dito sa El Riego pero di ka parin marunong magsalita ng local language namin."

" Sorry. I'm just terrible at it." Zach replied. " Sinusubowkan kow naman peyo di akow komportable." Halatang nahirapan ito magsalita.

" Eh hindi sa lahat ng pagakakataon ay naiintindihan ng kausap mo ang sinasabi mo."

" No worries. I only talk to few people." Sagot ni Zach.

Zach is really terrible when it comes to language studies. He almost failed his Filipino subjects in his first year. Good thing he was given consideration because of his foreign nationality.

"Hey Zach. Saan ka naman nagpupunta kagabi?" It was the first thing he said as he approached them.

"Hulaan ko. Tinawagan ka rin ni Tita Kelly?" Tanong ni Drey.

"Oo." He looked at Zach. "Hinahanap ka eh. Akala niya may project tayong ginagawa di ka nakauwi kaagad."

"Don't worry. I explained to her already." Zach said.

"Alam mo. Di ko talaga maintindihan si Tita Kelly. Ang tanda-tanda mo na, you're 21, right? pero sobrang overprotective pa rin niya sayo." Drey said while spinning his pen with his fingers.

"Oo nga. Siguro may nangyari sayo noon kaya ganyan siya kaworried? Maliban sa motorbike accident na sinabi niya sa'yo." Warren commented.

"How would I supposed to know? I have no childhood memories."

Zach doesn't really know why but the farthest memory he could remember is his graduation in Senior high school. His mother never told him anything except about his motorbike accident.

"Wala ka bang maalala kahit isa?" Warren asked.

Zach just shook his head in response. The bell rang and their professor in Photography walked inside the room. They all went back to their seats. Drey and Zach were sitting at the last row while Warren was sitting in front of Zach.

"Good morning Mr. Piper."

"I will only be checking your attendance today and announce your midterm exams in my subject before I dismiss you all. I have an urgent meeting to attend to." The professor said. He was around forty's and from his appearance, anyone could tell that he's gay.

He opened his laptop and started calling names alphabetically.

He closed his laptop and stood up.

"Okay. For your midterm exam. I will be requiring you to submit a photo album with ten portraits of strangers." Mr. Piper announced.
