𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫
𝐬𝐨 𝐢 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫
𝐢 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞
"SAM WAKE UP!" i scream as i run into sam's room.
"i- what?" sam replies, still half asleep.
"it's christmas so you need to wake up!" i say.
"you sound like a toddler, liv." sam jokes.
"mentally, i am a toddler." i laugh.
after lots of difficulty, i finally got sam to go downstairs to open up christmas presents. i am spending the holidays with the thomas/brewer family this year because my mom had an emergency work trip to attend.
"merry christmas everyone!" i exclaimed.
"merry christmas, olivia." kristy laughs.
"ok, we've been up long enough, let's open presents!" i say.
"ok wait one second though," sam muttered, "i want you to open mine last."
"ok then," i laugh.
twenty minutes and lots of opened presents later, the family was cleaning up the mess and putting on a christmas movie to watch.
"ok can i open my present now?" i ask sam.
"yeah, let's go upstairs, i want it to be private." sam replies shyly.
"ok, sure." i agreed and we walked upstairs.
"so it's kind of small, but i hope you like it." sam mumbles.
"i'm sure i'll love it." i reassured.
sam hands me a small wrapped box and i giggle at his poor attempt at gift wrapping. i tear the paper and it reveals a jewelry box containing a silver chain with a moon pendant attached.
"oh it's so pretty, sam." i say in awe.
"really?" he asks.
"yes, i love it! oh help me put it on." i continued.
"ok," sam agreed.
