Pauline "Paulie" Whitaker was born and raised in BlueBell, Alabama and after attending college in Chicago and moving back home, she lives out her days as a high school English teacher and having fun with her friends from childhood; George Tucker, Lemon Breeland, AnnaBeth Nass, and Wade Kinsella. Everything was going normally is a BlueBell normal way when a new doctor moved to town and start causing a bunch of drama.
This is the story about how Paulie became friends with Dr. Zoe Hart and how Paulie's life changed; for better of worse, she doesn't know yet.
