My worst nightmare

Gregg just got shot.
Antonio and Jules pulled up next. "Drop your weapon or I will shoot" I heard Jules yell. Next thing I knew Freddie was laying dead next to me

I ran up to my partner. "Come on Gregg your not dyeing today, stay with me" I said with tears in my eyes
I heard the sirens from the ambulance and I helped the paramedics get him in the stretcher.

"Hank I'm riding with them to Med" I yelled
"Come on Gregg stay with me"
The paramedics started chest compressions and then they stopped
"Time of death 21:32"
"No, come on Gregg stay with me" I started doing chest compressions
"Teddie he's gone"
"No he's not" I had tears in my eyes.
"Teddie let him go, he's gone"
I heard the paramedic say it but I didn't believe it was real.

I arrived back at the district
"Hey I'm sorry to hear about your partner Teddie" I heard Trudy say
"Thanks, could you buzz me up please"
"Sure thing"

I walked upstairs and heard Hank say "Detective Glazier my office now"
"Yeah Hank? I'm not really in the mood to be yelled at right now."
"I wasn't going to yell at you"
"Then what's up"
"Well for starters I wanted to say I'm sorry about what happened to your partner"
"Thanks"
"I called you in here because I'm asking you to stay in intelligence for good."
"Are you serious?"
"Yes I am, your good police and I need a new detective."
"I'd love to work in intelligence. Thank you Hank"
He gave me a hug and I walked out
"Why are you all happy?" I heard Erin say
"You are looking at the newest detective in intelligence" I said proudly
"Really?" Erin smiled
"Yeah Voight just told me."
Erin smiled "This is gonna be fun, I loved working with you."
The rest of the team walked up the stairs
"Hey guys Teddie is apart of intelligence now."
I heard a few congrats and we went on with our day

(Later that night)
I walked into Molly's seeing the entire district
"Hey Teddie what are you drinking?" Gabby asked me
"Just a beer, thanks"
"Coming up"
Antonio walked over and sat in the chair next to me
"Hey long time no see"
"Hey, I never thought I'd see you again when you left homicide to come work in intelligence"
"Yeah I felt the same way. I'm happy your working in intelligence now you get to see my pretty face more often"
"That's always a plus Toni" we laughed
"How are things with Laura?"
"Not great we are getting a divorce"
"I'm sorry to hear that"
"Don't be I caught her cheating on me"
"I'm sorry to hear that"
"It's alright, hey I'm gonna head out"
"Ok goodnight"

He hugged me and I don't know what was worse the fact that I was hugging a man I still had feelings for or the fact that I still had feelings for him.
